Greetings to all! Busy weekend, huh?

GW - good to hear you have guests, and right on with the Spookmobile! Keep the townspeople on their toes.

Regular soccer season is over for my daughters, and I have to say, I have a real sour taste in my mouth about the way they handled the playoffs (I'll admit, it's partly poor sportsmanship).
One of my daughters' team DID NOT LOSE ONE playoff game - they had 2 ties, and 2 wins, and they were disqualified for the fact that they didn't score enough goals to qualify.
What?
Right. They didn't lose a single playoff game, and a team that had 2 wins, a tie, and a loss did go to the finals, due to a good scoring game.
What?
Exactly. I'm going to lodge a formal complaint, but I do realize it'll be shoveling sand against the tide.

On the plus side - All Stars starts for my other daughter soon, so she's still excited.

Oh, yes...haircut this morning. Gave her some take out as well (she needed it), so it was a good morning.

thehalloweenqn - nice on the phone number bit. Very quick. Sorry you had to experience that. So, when's the next time you're going out with he and his wife? (ha ha)

Surf report for Huntington Beach, CA 11/20 - mostly 2-3 foot, but some 6'+ rollers every once in a while. Fair shape. Water temp: 59 degrees, air temp: 57 degrees.

Joe-sorry to hear about the 'not enough goals' thing. That kinda sounds a bit shady, I would lodge a complaint too. Mr. & Mrs. Goober are going out with my cousin and I tonight but I'm riding with my cousin and he has strict orders never to try that b.s. with me again or I'll fire his sorry @**. Ok, I wouldn't really fire him for that but I would cut off some very important body parts! lol

Hey all!

Just wanted to check in this weekend. No need to test Temp did a big nose dive on Saturday, another month of false hope over. The only plus, it keeps me in the running for a Halloween baby. Tig maybe that will be our time!

Wednesday you have good excuses for not being around. Some rather more important stuff than talking to us insane people. Glad to hear that everything is going pretty good at home and school.

Joe that is a little messed up. It just adds to the poor sportsmanship because it tells the kids to run the score up on a team that they are beating soundly and that should never be. Should always be based on record first and goals second.

LHallow Too bad about the visit (or visit in the very near future) of the Aunt. We can both hold out hopes for the Halloween baby but the wife might be on me a lot to try to make it a September baby..........she takes all the fun out of baby making.[]
