Cinders, total bummer that you got fired. But you have 90 days to get back on your feet. The company my mom worked for decided to save money by finding ways to can all the high seniority. She'd been there for almost 20 years. The good news is there products went down hill and a lot of office personnel and management got canned. This didn't help her any but it did cheer her up. I really hope things go better for you now than they have been.

Putrid, thanks for the support and relating the incident with your mom. I really don't know if that might be what is going on in this case, but there are a lot of changes happening within the department that I reported to. I do know that morale was kind of low in many areas of the office.

Anyway, Good Mourning to all. I took the day off for my mental health (and because it was supposed to be a nice warm day!). It is very overcast but they haven't predicted any rain. Lots of wind though. I was hoping to do some more work on the veggie garden but doesn't look like I'll be able to do much deep digging as the ground is very wet from our recent rains. So far I have tomatoes, peppers, garlic, onions, broccoli, brussels sprouts and some cabbage all planted.

My daughter is also home from school today. She claims it is "Senior Ditch Day." So like a good mom, I called her in sick!
