The energy was HIGH...great fun night! [image]http://www.gotwoodnow.com/angela/smilz/bluerok.gif[/image]

The Bike fest of Leesberg brought us a pretty dead rest of weekend. I know my attitude is what ever I go home with is MORE then I went in with...but seriously, Thank Whom ever you believe in --Friday night the $$ were so good. [image]http://www.gotwoodnow.com/angela/smilz/thumbsup.gif[/image]

My Saturday down time consisted of....Shopping the Flea Market, coming home laying in the pool for about 2 hours while my family grilled me a steak for dinner before I went in to work...it was great!

Sunday I took my daughter shopping. She has her BIG reception for her Scholorship Tuesday night. [image]http://www.gotwoodnow.com/angela/smilz/cheergirl.gif[/image]...then I took her to lunch at Zellies and we watched th first half of Talledega and had some wings. (no beer Ann had to work last night)

ROTTING & DAVE, if you go to the library.... I have been discussing a plan for memorial day.... Wendy (boss lady) says we are definitely OFF memorial day. So....talking with some of my ROWDY friends..(poor dave is in for such a SOUTHERNeducation when he gets here...) We are thinkin about kicking in on a KEG & getting half a PIG for a good ole fashioned weekend Pig Pickin.[image]http://www.gotwoodnow.com/angela/smilz/dancepiano.gif[/image]

I don't know if you play guitar, [image]http://www.gotwoodnow.com/angela/smilz/sing.gif[/image] but if you do, bring it if you are still plannin on coming.

oh yeah Brenda says, she'll be bringing Jello shots also

and that is it friends....Not much in the way of Halloween, but my prop building contacts are getting very good as is my resources...

    so on to [image]http://www.gotwoodnow.com/angela/smilz/coffeebreak.gif[/image]

    Hi all!
3 days without phone service...GRRRRRRRRRR. The phone co. was out last week and couldn't find the problem. This weekend they replaced about 300 yards of cable. Maybe now the neighborhood will be able to use there phones. Seems all of Warrenton is having problems with the old lines.

Not been up to too much. Deb picked up three roses and about $50 in annuals. Well, Ok some of that $50 was mine but she picked out the most. LOL The yard looks like we're growing hay so I've GOT to mow some time soon.

Moon, your job sounds a WHOLE lot more fun than mine.

    Ya'll have a good day.

    Putrid,

I have to admit I LOVE my job I really do.... I mean in the dining room we are pretty professional even tho it's major casual got a lot of "older" clientele but with the regulars it is one big cut up usually...

    Here's a good example....

There are 2 doors leading to the deck outside. Friday night I am carrying a tray full of thank god styrofoam filled cups out to the deck....One of the servers got the first door for me so I assumed she was gonna get the screen door-- she dropped it.

Yuppers, I was covered in soda. 2 hit the floor, one busted wide open...and the people on the deck --CLAPPED & howled....you only get the standing ovation if there are more then 1 of ya involved and something gets broken. The regulars are a freakin HOOT.

The roses sound beautiful and my yard was suppose to get cut this weekend also.... i did say SUPPOSE to, right? Larr stayed in PJ's all day yesterday...today is MY turn....

God I feel like I'm living about a dozen lives with all the stuff that's going on.

    1) There's testing again this week. Damn standardized tests for the students. Last week was the first parts, and this week, thankfully there is only Science and Social Studies, and then we're done.

    2) Friday is an ice cream party for our students, seeing the other one got cancelled at the last minute

    3) Next week is our field trip to the Georgia Renaissance Festival. I'm so excited...I'm giddy.

    4) I'm starting to make the designs for Dead End Press That's the cyberzine that we've talked about on the other forum. When Larry and I have more stuff, you'll know about it.

    5) I just took over another site for someone. I was sponsoring the site on my own site, and when he wanted to step down, he asked me, so I agreed. Now I feel like I have another job running it.

    6) My sister in law's baby shower is this weekend, and we're having it in our house, so we're getting ready for that...just a few weeks after us moving in. God it's annoying trying to rush through everything.

7)I'm working on an 8th Grade Graduation video with a co-worker, so we worked on that over the weekend. (5 hours on Saturday alone), and it looks like we're only half finished. Happy happy joy joy.

    8)*passes out from exhaustion*

    Kenneth: Is everyone there dead?
    Steve: Dead-ish.
C.J.: What the **** does that mean?
Steve: Well, dead in the sense that they fell down. Then they got back up. Then they started eating each other.

Ugh, what a weekend! The Lightning beat the Canadiens twice this weekend!! Woo Hoo, now if they just win on Tuesday and Thursday they won't even have to come back to the St Pete Times Forum and play them anymore. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

My wife and I celebrated my birthday on Saturday night and I had the Tres Diablo at our favorite Italian restaurant. It is grilled tuna, salmon and swordfish cooked in a spicy sauce over spaghetti. It also includes shrimp as well. It is TO DIE FOR! They even made it extra spicy for me. Yum Yum.

Moon you should be getting your package in the mail today or tomorrow, unless they lost it. I sent it out first class so be looking for it soon!

The plans on Memorial Day sound like a blast, when you have it set let me know and we will book a room at the Hampton Inn in Mt Dora!

This week I will have very little access to email and on Friday I'll be flying to California so I will be a little scarce but will check in when I can. We are going out to San Jose for 5 days. It should be fun and we are planning on taking in a Giants game, the Santa Cruz amusement park and some other fun things. We don't have all of the plans done yet but we'll stay active!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good afternoon fellow haunters! I've been too busy lately with work to do any fun internet stuff. Changing our circuit providers so all our servers have be changed over. It's a long process but almost complete.

Spent the weekend helping our friend move in. She's back from college and needs a place to stay this summer.

Hope the rest of this MOnday is an enjoyable one!

So...a keg and an old fashioned Pig picking, eh? If this is a southern tradition, then I probably shouldn't pork fun at it, should I? But I'm really happy about the keg. After the drive I'm going to make, I would imagine I'll need a beer when I get there!

Good afternoon, everyone (and David too!)

Not too much going on here. Did a bit of gardening over the weekend. We did go to an art gallery on Friday where my daughter and several others from her advanced art class were having a showing. The students all did very good work.

Moon, your memorial day party sounds like a blast! Sure wish I could come down there!

geez you guys was MONDAY as bad for all of you as it was for me? [image]http://www.gotwoodnow.com/angela/smilz/slam_anim.gif[/image]

I f&**% ran over my 19yr old cat.... You have no idea HOW upset I still am over this. He is not dead (that I know of) Right now I currently can't find him. I know I hurt him tho because he kinda crawled off. He hasn't been crying tho..... [image]http://adwoff.com/ubb/graemlins/sad2.gif[/image]

We won't even go into how work went last night. I do LOVE my job but we pool tips and I can't stand when the kids I work with have "attitude" & "drama" going. [image]http://www.gotwoodnow.com/angela/smilz/attentionwhore.gif[/image]. Last night was a Night I despised that we pool the tips.

My schedule a little different this week... I am working Saturday daytime [image]http://adwoff.com/ubb/graemlins/wiggle.gif[/image] This being a [u]GREAT</u> thing for 2 reasons.... 1 I can watch the Busch Race (which no one does around the house... I just love racing!) 2. I get off in the middle of "happy hour"--[image]http://www.gotwoodnow.com/angela/smilz/bouncey.gif[/image]

Tonight is Andrea's Scholorship reception. I am off & running this morning....Office depo (we wanted to give her a nice pen & pencil set), MAULmart, gas,. I feel like I have not slept in days.

Looking to be a cloudy, rainy [image]http://www.gotwoodnow.com/angela/smilz/raindance.gif[/image] day in central FL. already 72 & muggy.

    gotta run! [image]http://adwoff.com/ubb/graemlins/toilet_claw.gif[/image]

It's good to hear from ya David. Hope your trips a good one.

Not much going on here. Going to do some weeding and get the rest of the mowing done this afternoon when I get up. I don't know if I said anything about this when it happened so I'll start from the beginning so this will make sense. About 4 months ago our plant CEO did his best to insult everyone at a meeting. Not intentionally but the way it came across wasn't good for anyone listening. What it boiled down to is HE has taken charge of hiring new people (after having a turn over rate of over 60% for the past few years) He was going to make sure that only the best candidates would be hired. OK so the rest of us that's been there a few years are out of the 'loser' candidates they've been picking from. LOL

Here's a list of what we've got so far

    9 new hirees,

One worked a week and then urinated all over a toilet and quit. A co worker caught him in the act.

One spends his weekends in jail and doesn't show up on Fridays. Didn't show up last night either.

One likes to sacrifice his unborn children to the porcelain goddess. He's been caught and makes no attempt to cover. He's been there for 6 weeks now and still doesn't know his job.

Two have left the building peacefully.

Now this means that out of 9 newbees, 3 have quit and two are on there way out. 60% of 9 is 5.4. Even with the 'best and the brightest' we're still at 60% turn over rate.

Now see what ya'll are missing NOT working in a factory? LOL
