Eeeek, those were true horror stories Moon and Putrid! YUCK!
Well this week things are going well for me. The Cubs were blown out last night, that was no fun, but the Lightning are playing the Canadiens tonight and if everything goes well, they will lead the series 3 - 0. That would be awesome but only time will tell, I doubt the home fans in Canada will be quiet unless the Lightning start off with a couple of goals right off the bat. That should quiet things down a lot, they are notorious for being really lousy fans though. They actually boo during the star spangled banner. We don't do that when they sing the Canadian national anthem here. Pretty lame if you ask me.
Aside from that, all else is well. Only have to work until Thursday and then I'm taking a few days off. We leave early Friday morning and won't get back until late Tuesday night! Wednesday I'll make sure to hang near my home office.
Well that's all that is happening this morning. Not a whole heck of a lot, it looks like it is about to rain here in South Orlando but cooler and more pleasant temps are in store tomorrow with the highs cracking just the upper 70's and low humidity. Today it's like a sauna outside, just a slight taste of things to soon come here! A couple more days of relief will be nice then its off to beautiful weather in San Jose - highs in the 70's and lows in the lower 50's!
BIG yawn....TAKE a nap and see banned people back....bad enough the kiddies at work can't do their job. Shame I have to put up with it on my OFF time also.
I was wondering why theire weren't any posts now I know. They saw the name, thread & title and LEFT.

Yesterday was a BAD day for me. I got to work and on my cigarette break I discovered that one of my rear shock mounts completely snapped off of my car. So now I'm going to have to pay ALOT of money (that I could be using for props instead) to pay some specialists to fix it. They're acting like I might have to replace my entire rear axle or my entire rear end. I just dont understand how a piece of steel this thick can snap in half. It's not like I've been driving the car into the ground or anything. [}]

Good Morning. I am posting in the A.M. again because the job I had was not working out for me. I am a route driver not a Red Bouncing Ball driver, and since that was all these guys did, I had to leave. The job was only suppose to be there until I found "THE" job, but these guys were keeping me out, zig zagging all over, and in a truck that was governed to stay 65mph. That is 10mph slower that our Max. speed limit. There was nothing like driving in a 75mph zone, flooring it just to go slow, having everyone and their brother flying by you as if you were standing still, and even getting some one finger salutes from people who think I was doing that on purpose.
Oh well back to the drawing board!
Today it is going to be 80 and tomarrow it will be snowing. You gotta love Spring Time in the Rockies!

Hi all. I think I'm left out here or missing something..??.. It's ruff only being able to post in the morning. Seams all the 'good' stuff happens wile I'm taking a shower. LOL (getting ready for work.) And speaking of this morning, was I the only member who couldn't get on to this site. Kept getting the dreaded 'page not available' page. Not quite as bad as the 'page not found' page but still a bummer when your looking forward to hear from everyone.
Dear In Headlights, A real bummer about your car. Hope it doesn't cost too much to fix it. When I was a lot younger and still at home my dad had a Chrystler Imperial that first broke a drive shaft. Then a rear axle. After a hand full of other misshaps he got even. He drained the oil out. Started the car and sat in the driveway with his foot on the gas peddle till the car died. LOL If you got the money for a new car you might want to try it. Sure made him feel better.

Pokymon
Putrid, I've invested WAY too much time, money, and effort into this vehicle.. and not because I had to, but because I wanted to. This is the first 'major' problem I've had since I got this car 1 1/2 years ago, she's a 91 Jeep Wrangler and has 220k miles on her. I'd say that's pretty good considering how much I've abused her on and off-road. And if I were to EVER get a new car.. I'd just get another Jeep. I've been working so hard to get her customized and I've been slowly doing upgrades. I think this problem with the shock mount shouldn't be too difficult to overcome compared to the work we've done on her already. Still, I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed anyways.
