I collect Minnesota Viking memorabilia. I have been a diehard fan since the early 70's.(giving away my age LOL) I've got game used jerseys, autographed footballs, binders of pictures and cards, to much to list here. Our next house is going to have either a basement or a game room where I can display my collection. Would love to fix it up like a sports bar.
I also like to do work around the house. I am like a jack of all trades. Know carpentry, plumbing, some electric and of course: PAINTING. In the process of replacing all the dark stained trim and doors as we speak. Already replaced the windows and will be starting on the vinyl siding next. I stay busy working on our house, my parents and my brothers house. I also love to buy tools! Like halloween decorations, you can never have too many!LOL
The wife and I have two dogs and two cats. She had them before we got married. She told me if the dogs- Psycho and Jessie - didn't like me, I'd better think again about hanging around. Luckily they approved of me. If you check out my photo page you will see we were maried at our Halloween party. It turned out perfect.
We like to hang out and do things together on the weekends. Recently we starting doing some geo caching. Friends from Atlanta took us and we were hooked. You get to do some hiking and see some places that you didn't know were there. We are planning on doing some on our honeymoon next month. We love to play cards with our friends. We enjoy a cold beverage together and eating mexican foods.

Well, let's see now...I like to write (obviously), I like to draw (had a one-man gallery showing a couple of years ago), I like to surf, I like to dive, I like riding a bicycle, I love movies (made my living reviewing them for the press at one time), I like magic - especially levitation effects -- and, oh yeah, I kinda like chasing women. I also like Merlot.

I love to garden. I like to grow plants in the house over the winter. I'm only into this for the past few years so I have a lot to learn. So many plants, so little room! I would love to graduate from flourescent lighting to something a bit more productive, but that's an endeavor for when my kid leaves home and I take over her room! I used to be very involved in Girl Scouts and I have a memorabilia collection. I'm not currently into that anymore and will probably unload the collection soon. I haven't discovered all my passions yet!

    Where to start?
To avoid writing a novel I'll just say that I had a hand in just about every sub culture.

Ok, Most of you probably already know this about me but here it goes.

My wife and I were married on Halloween of 2000 in a graveyard at dusk so Halloween is VERY important and really the only holiday that I really celebrate all out! I could care less about the rest!

I am a DJ on a community radio station and have done some "pirate radio" as well. I enjoy all types of music but find myself regularly listening to gothic/industrial music but am wide open in my tastes everything from rock to metal to classical to jazz and to blues, you name it I pretty much like it. I also am a club dj from time to time and have done weddings as well. The radio show is called Dark Horizons and our website is www.darkhorizonsradio.com

I love life and want to live it to the fullest everyday! I love traveling and seeing new places. I don't have a lot of freetime because I like to always be on the go. Some days I do have down days so that I can take in a film (almost always HORROR). My wife and I are both Taurus's so we are stubborn but believe our home is our castle!

We share our home with 2 spoiled cats! We love them to death and they kinda like us a little as well, I think! We used to have ferrets but they all passed away at a ripe old age.

We love WINE and wine tastings and have developed a large group of friends that like it as well.

Music primarily is my life along with horror! If I had to live on an island and could only have a few things, I would pick Fine Wine, A wide array of music, Every horror DVD or Video, MY WIFE and freshly caught seafood!

I think I share alot in common with Rotting. I too am a Taurus ( I turn 30 the 23rd of this month). I have 3 cats that I have raised since they were 2 weeks old and I love them like they're my flesh and blood. And I also love to drink wine. Its my drink of choice. My 4 year old son is my life. My biggest interest besides the dark and unusual is animal rights. I've been a vegetarian for almost 10 years now. Not a pushy vegetarian though. My son eats meat still because I feel it should be his choice. Living in a fairly small town I'm the only vegetarian I know. Lots of people give me crap for it but it doesn't bother me anymore.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

I am Jim Warfield, I'm an oldster here, being hatched in 1949, and as the two previous posters I'm a Taurus, May 17th.
I have always been a person drawing until I began welding and bending thick steel into shapes, like the dragon-woman that resides in the metal tree in my south yard. Her one wing is in the process of being shredded by small birds, pulling away the meat from the bones, as a knight is riding her back, he's smiling even though she just ripped his one arm off! I titled this :"Just Me And The Wife Out For A Sunday Drive"
Divorced four times, but to my credit(I think?) from four different women. None of these experiences were fun nor easy.
I always assembled plastic model kits. A room upstairs as part of the house tour here has a plexiglass covering the entire doorway to a room that might have 900 assembled airplanes, tanks, ships and cars in there hanging from the ceiling and on many little shelves.
I haven't put one of these together for about five years, I still buy one once and awhile, just incase I develope the need..
I have always been a war-history nut, but then, with a last name like "Warfield" what choice did I have? I've pretty much cooled to this area of thinking after spending way too many years of my life in World War Two, mentally, that is......
Almost everyday I do something here concerning my house and business, it's a "Haunted House" that's open for tours almost every night of the year, plus Sat. and Sun. afternoons! hauntedravensgrin.com
I hired help replacing the roof on this place but have done 99% of all the other work on the house in the 17 years of ownership.
Besides the electrical, heating and plumbing and carpenter work, I have also severly modified many parts of this house to my own whims to create an very unsual tour experience for all ages of patron.
After completing one special hallway, I was thinking that it may effect some people and make them feel as if they were in a dream?
Then I happened to over hear several people say this very thing about walking down this hallway! "I feel like as if I'm in a dream!"
A tour through my house can require as long as 90 minutes (if you want to hear the complete haunted history) I pay no homage to Hollywood monsters here, I try long and hard to do and be something entertaining and stimulating in ways not commonly found elsewhere.
My perfect tour makes the fearfull laugh, then scream alittle, them laugh at what just scared them, and this continues for the whole tour!
Everybody completes the tour, nobody chickens out or has to leave the house(I sometimes have to really work at this)

I once dug a very long, winding tunnel through my yard and them cemented it and it's now the exit tunnel from the house, when I say "I dug", I am not meaning that I sat on a backhoe and pulled levers, I had a shovel in my hand digging. I guess I'm pretty nuts compared to the average couch-potato!
I have spent the majority of the last several weeks doing concrete work around here. yesterday I welded up a railing for this new project. Today I lifted and installed maybe 15 concrete blocks, hand-mixing 480 pounds of concrete today, when it's done it will be a special and hopefully very memorable room here at the end of the tour.I have spent four of five days this week on this project. I purposely do not keep track of my time that I spend doing things here, it would get too depressing sometimes to accurately put a number of hours to each item.
I am moving my house exit again for the fourth time in 17 years, originally people came out of the big steel skeleton's mouth at the front of the house,(I made the skull too) them for a few years they exited from the trunk of a 1950 Hudson car after traveling subterraineon .
I have been very fortunate to have recieved some really wonderfull free advertising in the form of TV shows and national magazines, even appearing on the cover of National Geographic World for an October edition!
Coming up, I'm supposed to be seen on the Comedy Central Network show "Travel Sick", of course I have yet to ever be paid for being infront of anyone's camera! Oh, well?
Long-winded warning! Time to cease and desist! Sorry.

Oh! Neat thread. Just found ya's.

I just recently re-found my love for Halloween which has turned into an addiction. I'm not sure yet if that's good or not. The hubby has a slight problem with it and only time will tell. Right now I'm still running the brainwashing tape at midnight and am looking for a hypnotist that I can bribe to subconscously change his mind. There is some hope, last week I found him scrounging up the last of the candy corn left way back in the pantry.

I've been teaching myself how to make twig furniture, since we live in the woods and there's lots of twigs. Only thing is I keep trying to turn the furniture into something for Halloween.

We have two dogs. One little mutt and one big mutt. They keep the bears, racoons porcupines, coyote and skunks away. And recently acquired a cat. She keeps the mice away.

We also have one boy, almost sixteen and I have a hard time imagining that I'm that old because I don't feel like I have a boy that's sixteen. And I have started going through the 'Oh, my gosh, I'm gonna be an empty nester' syndrome.

I love throwing parties and I love coming up with clever things that people don't forget.

And I just got a new car, which I love. First new one I ever had. But I really, really, really miss my 1990 Dodge Ram truck.

    My list:
    Paintball
Kayaking, camping, hiking. General outdoorsy stuff.
Cruising to Hooters on my motorcycle.
Movies - Mostly action/sci-fi/comedy but I like a little bit of almost everything.
Books - Fantasy/Sci-fi/ mostly but I love to read anything. Remember the scene in Kingpin when the guy has to go to the bathroom and wants something to read? Woody Harrelson offers him a shampoo bottle but the guy says "Nah, I've already read that one". I've been there.
Music - Again I like all kinds. Love the 80's. New age. Old country. Techno. Some rap(very little, mostly older stuff. This gangsta crap really makes me puke)
Video games - My X-box controller gets more handling than my wife. Of course, the contoller is more responsive. Just kidding.

***Trick or treat. Smell my feet. Give me something good to eat.***

Love Halloween plus its hubby's birthday. I guess I live in what someone said was happy ville because I do enjoy scrapbooking. I manage a few grioupd about it on the net.
Business wise I sell Avon and we own Aquamania. It's a company that sets up and maintains aquariums in professional offices. We have 1 chow and 1 pit. We had 2 pits but my male recently left to run through the clouds. And obviously tons of fish.
We enjoy hanging out by the pool, camping and boating. We are lucky enough to like 1/2 mile from the intacoastal and 1/2 mile from fresh water. But our favorite pass time is to hit all the flea markets, yard sales and thrift stores looking for new props. I saw a few fellow scouters that posted. I did boys for a few years but girls for over 8. But all my babies are grown so I'm no longer a leader.
