Good morning all. It's a tad balmy out right now, but hoping for nice weather...Have been spring cleaning, it sucks to be me right now. Actually, I'm pretty much done, just need to convince the garbage men to take the extra fifteen 50 gallon garbage bags I have waiting for them(we have a 6 bag or two trash can limit).

Prom coming up for my two teenagers. Love that Prom dress and tux shopping. We ordered the tux from our local costume shop (they do weddings and such) and it gave me a chance to browse the Halloween props section. Nothing new out yet...

This weekend is dedicated to sprusing up the yard and I've decided to make it a family event.

Woke up to 64 degrees today in St Pete, we're closer to the water than MOON and did my usual run. It's nice being back in town on a Thursday, I actually can see my wife a little bit more, but next week, alas, I will be in South Orlando again, ugh!

They are setting up the downtown area in St Pete for a tri-athalon. EEEK! I really don't know how people do it. I have done a 9 mile jog and then a 20 mile bike ride in the same day, but running a marathon, then immediately riding 20 miles on a bike, then swimming over a mile and a half all in 4 hours, I don't know how people do it. My 9 miles is enough to wear one out. There are some truly dedicated or twisted people out there.

Twisted in a different way than us of course, although some would certainly call us weird! Too bad for them, that they don't have a clue how GREAT Halloween truly is and to live your life for it everyday, waiting for the next one to come around. All this talk this week about Halloween Horror Nights really got me thinking and started my plans for my house this year. If I can get my computer to accept the software that I have to load on it so that I can put some pictures up, I'll do it, but for now I'm pretty clueless. I am pretty computer savvy but some things I just haven't mastered yet, maybe one day.

I did purchase a really cool pen from the Ren Fest this weekend. It was $7 and was a hand sculpted mummy (very eerie looking, I don't like happy Halloween things, give me the gore and scary stuff) that I had to have. I am going to bring it in to work tomorrow, even though I work in a professional environment, tough! Most people won't even see it since I seriously work in a converted broom closet, but I'll show it to people that know about my addiction.
