Touche' MOON!
The only thing is I see more American flags down here than anywhere else in the state, on cars, in windows, on doors etc... Sure there are plenty of Haitian, Puerto Rican, Cuban flags but a lot of both can be seen on cars, businesses etc...

I think the reason I loved the first Scooby movie was because Scrappy was the bad guy. I hate that character! Worst cartoon character of all time, if you ask me. Since he was the bad guy, now I know he'll never be added into a sequel to join the team. At least, he better not be!

Oh, I forgot, I liked Scooby Doo too, but this live action thing just doesn't get me too excited. I do like the old ghosts who were always old men that were trying to scare people away because they had some hidden gold or something.
I sure would LOVE to have one of those fog machines that would fog up the entire sea and docks when they were investigating pirates or water bound "ghosts." Way too ridiculous, but they lost me with those Scrappy Doo's too. The ideas were weak but the ghosts always looked cool.
It reminded me of the ads in the Johnson Smith Catalogs when I was a kid. They always said buy a 7 foot ghost to scare your friends and the illustration was really cool. When you paid $3.00 you ended up with a balloon head and a 7 ft strand of white vinyl that you had to cut a hole in which made it about 3 1/2 feet tall once you blew up the balloon and so forth. It was always fun to see what they would send and it was never too expensive.
Here they are today and they operate out of Bradenton Florida!!

Brings back lots of memories and they still publish the catalogs!

Yeah, making Scrappy the bad guy was genius, and the main reason I liked the film.
And yes those fog machines were cool, but I always liked the projectors that were able to project a ghost over entire building or outdoor area plus have the projection react to the antics of Shaggy and Scooby, those were something else!

hi ghouls! [image]http://www.twincityscape.com/forum/images/smiles/hi.gif[/image]
just jumping in to say good morning! [image]http://www.gotwoodnow.com/angela/smilz/huggles.gif[/image]
Not much going on here. The 7th grade field trip was a real drag for my husband the Chaperone
Seems the kids didn't want to go on any of the good coasters and one of the brats with my daughter's group had been there "A million times" pretty much controlled the day. [image]http://www.gotwoodnow.com/angela/smilz/kickbutt.gif[/image]
so it pretty much sucked for Mr. Chaperone. [image]http://www.twincityscape.com/forum/images/smiles/itsokay.gif[/image]
Not much up around here. Seems these days if I am not working I am sleeping. I forgot how much FUN it all is
Off to get some [image]http://www.twincityscape.com/forum/images/smiles/hyper.gif[/image]

Morning Moon! I love that gif with the smiley kicking the other one. LOL
It's Thursday, which means Survivor night. Yay! Wings are playing tonight as well, but I'm passing on this game cause I'm more interested in the Pistons. I need to save my sports watching for basketball so my wife doesn't get too upset.

Good Morning Moon, Drunk.
Not much to report, got some seeds started in the peet cups last night finally. I could have probably started them outside at this point, but I have some critter out there this year that keeps digging up my seeds. Where's my BBgun?
Other than that I'll be here doing more tedieus computer stuff here at work today while we have another day of incredible weather.
Time for coffee.

Good Mourning, all. Did everyone get their taxes in????!!!
I haven't been on in a few days. My husband had to have a biopsy yesterday so things have been a bit difficult here. We've had lovely weather past 2 days. Today should be about 72 and then up from there until Monday when cooler temps are predicted. I've been potting up plants that I grew and letting them sit outside for some "exercise" while the weather is nice. Gonna dig around in the veggie garden today and clean up a bit outside.
Have a great day everyone!
