OK guys, this is it...this is the official "David Knoles is coming to a theater near you" thread. Well, he's not really coming to you, but he is uprooting from the peaceful and gentile beauty of Redondo Beach and making his way across the country in search of greener pastures... or at least some really kick ass halloweenies that know how to party. And considering the fact that he is headed toward the land of Moon and honey, aka Moongirl's house, I am sure that he will indeed find all the fine partying he can possibly stand. But, hell, who needs to stand...you can party from a chair, cant you? Captain Morgans, anyone?

As Dave makes his way across the good ol' US of A, this will be the spot where he checks in, leaves us a pic or two, and a little message...Oh yeah, we're talking about David, aren't we? There's no such thing as a little message with him! lol! This will also be the place to leave Dave a message and words of encouragement...oh, and some tips on good eats in Dave's travels.

So' I'll go first...Good luck, David. Enjoy your trip and keep in touch with us...you've been such a huge part of this forum and we've loved your sassy quips and insight. Don't know which rout your taking but if you find yourself going through Missouri on highway 70 you'll have to pass right through Warrenton. If your looking for a good place to eat Flying J truckstop is just 6 miles to the west of us. You'll pass by that before you hit my town. The road you get off to go to the truckstop is the same road you would take to go to my wife's parents house. You'd have to take highway A north a ways to get there. If you go south on A to the 'town' of Pennelton (town is used lightly here. I think there's a pop. of 50 when everyone's home. LOL) you'll drive past some aunt's uncles and cousins. Pellelton is just a mile or so behind the truckstop. And if you go into Warrenton you can stop and get food at Kroger where Deb works. As you go into town you will be on a 4 lane road. It's kind of deceiving. Warrenton is a crossroads for all the towns north and south of us. And besides if you want to get anywhere you have to leave Warrenton to do it. LOL

I, do talk to David on the phone frequently also I'll kieep you all updated on him Like I did when they turned off his DSL...he is having a great time learning the manual of the picture phone cell. I am sure he'll be sending me or DI pics to post.

He is shakin in his boots on this journey across country by himself. I told him to think of it as an ADVENTURE![b]

I find this whole thing wonderous. If it wasn't for Larry's wonderful forum here, I would have never met some of the best people I know in my life at the moment. I am proud to be a part of it.

Funny the things the Fates hand us...last year October, Dave and I were so angry he couldn't get here for the party. Look where we sit in April.

The Addam's Family is very happy to be having The Wizard join the family! I wonder how long he'll last with my little "Bride of Chucky", hehehehehehe...then there is the 10 yr old "Master of Disaster"......and my 13yr old who reveals herself as a perfectly 'normal' teen but is JUST as odd as her MOTHER! My Larry is very happy he will soon have a friend & buddy to shoot the "guy stuff' with (and sling a few JELLO SHOTS & BEERS WITH)!

Very cool to have something "virtual" as in the NET turn into the pysical realm

David, I wish you well on your journey. I didn't even know you would be on your way so soon. I don't know exactly where you're at right now. Its kind of like that game only now we'd have to call it "Where In The World Is David Knoles!" Please be safe.

he hasn't left yet..... BUT has no internet access at home and he is doing some temp work for the $$ right now. I think he leaves about mid may.

Moon or Di..when you talk to him please tell him to be safe and careful..and that I wish him the the best of luck and for him to take care of hisself..It just does not seem the same without him here..tell him when his journey is done his family (all of us on here will be waiting with open arms to greet him back)..
