Thread: I need ideas for a horror blog

I wasn't sure where to put this topic since it's Halloween related but not, but here it goes.

I'm super obsessed with everything and anything that has to do with horror movies, horror books, the holiday Halloween(something I'm sure all of you can relate too) and for over a year I've been wanting to make a blog but I'm a little stuck. The main thing is content. What type of content would I put up? I know I would like to talk about movies and books that's as far as I've gotten. Movies for me though are difficult to blog about my friends call me a horror snob because I don't think current horror movies are up to par with classics. Also I'm stuck on a name it seems like every name I think is awesome someone else found awesome too.

I'm not asking anyone to name my blog or feed me content to put up, I'm asking for your honest opinions.

Not sure what the question is if you're not asking for name ideas or content.

There are lots of blogs out there that do exactly what you're talking about. I'm not sure why you haven't gone ahead and made your own blog about what you love to talk about. There are several free sites that will let you start a blog and design the look and feel (Blogger and Wordpress are two that spring to mind). There's no negatives to just going for it if it's free. If you like horror movies and books and Halloween, that's plenty of content right there - it's a huge genre so really it's all about figuring out where you'd like to begin.

If you're truly passionate about the subject, go with it. As for a title/name it'll come to you.
