Hi All,
I have a really close friend who's cousin is missing on Mount Fuji in Japan.
He was going for a hiking/camping trip and was expected to return by Monday morning. He has still not shown up.
Japanese officials have sent search parties for him every day, but the weather is so bad.
His name is Matt Johnson, and if you think about it, please send warm wishes and prayers to him and his family.
I would greatly appreciate it!

The search party is getting ready to head out again for the day, but many of the trails are closed due to bad weather.

It is with a heavy heart that I bring you the news that the family of the hiker has called off the search.
It is assumed that Matt has died on the mountain due to 13 consecutive nights of sub-zero temps.

It is never easy losing one that you care for. Remember the best of times with him. For he wouldn't want you to suffer his loss, but instead find joy in the time that you shared. My deepest sympathies go out to you, and his loved ones.
