Yeah the original user had his fb account closed and the donations website taken down. The stories still being shared on FB by some woman. She's saying if the girl gets 1000 likes she'll get a transplant. This scam has been around for a while using various Children. Lots of friends of Zoe's Mum have asked the woman to remove the post but she just refused. Giving them abuse and saying Zoes not dead. She must be a very sick and messed up woman.

Oh my gosh... I think someone I know shared this on their wall recently. I'll have to go check and tell them. Just horrific.

I've seen this shared a number of times by freinds and family this week. I've explained to them that it's a scam and they've immediately deleted the post. Unfortunately, it appears that it's gone viral. I'll keep letting folks know!

Anytime I see someone post something like this I always check Snopes.com. They are usually pretty up to date with the scams. Unfortunately when I tell these people on FB what it really is...other people have already spread it.

Yeah Snopes is a good resource, I think some of her other friends have contacted them. It'll be around for a while then sadly some other poor child will end up being exploited

It just upsets me because they're a lovely family and she does so much for charity and helping other parents of children have CHD.

Easy mistake to make. I ended up sharing something along the same lines before (they had used a boy at the time, saying that he'd get a free heart transplant if it got so many shares), until someone pointed out that it wasn't true and told me to check out a scam site, at which point I took it down immediately and began telling anyone else who had shared it that it was an eff-ing farce

Right. It's too bad that it is so d@mned difficult to trust anyone
