    Happy New Year, everyone. The way I see it, with this 2012 business, like Y2K there's gonna be a lot of merchandising with this apocolypto stuff.

    This year was the first year I've ever heard firworks advertised for New Year's Eve. Christmas night, I saw a Fireworks Factory commercial on TV. I heard a bunch of them being shot off around midnight. Industrial ones, probably at a party downtown. The first time I've ever heard them shot at home was NYE 1999. I was spending the holiday w/folks in Madison, AL. We stood on the porch and heard them.
