A pic of my son attending the ball. He's the second from the left. He got word that his leave for the holidays was approved so he'll be home for Christmas this year for the first time in three years! We are EXCITED!!

Americans sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

What a beautiful boy!!! I can only imagine how proud you must be. I know this will be a great Christmas for your family. This pic made me smile and tear up too. Someone I love very much is a young Marine stationed in Virginia. I miss him terribly. When your son gets home please thank him from your friends here at HF.

I will certainly thank him! Thank YOU and your young Marine in VA! Semper Fi!
Thanks! WE are so glad he can be with us this year!
Here is a pic of our oldest at his Navy Ball to weeks ago. He recieved the Sailor of the Year award for his unit!

Since the middle boy will turn 21 in early December, I've been told I have to take both of them out for a few beers. Oldest has advised me to bring bail money!!Americans sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

That line about the bail money cracked me up!!! Your boys look great, as always. So glad your Marine got leave for Christmas, how exciting!!! Your wife (and of course, you) must be over the moon!! And how proud you must be of your "sailor of the year". Don't forget when you talk with them to remind them that your friends on Halloween forum send their love and pray for their safety and good health every day, and that we so appreciate their service to our country.
