I own a private web company and I joined this site this year and found how fun it is to make your own stuff and notice some people make this stuff all the time and sell it. I'm thinking about building a website where multi people can post there items for sale and buyers can have one checkout and stream line paying for their items, then each vendor depending on what the buyer bought and what items will get only there products to complete the order and ship it out. Almost like a drop ship however its reversed. Again this will be free for anyone to be a vendor and to post their items weather it be homemade or factory for low prices. Just want to bounce this idea off everyone and see what they think. It will be a clean cute website and super fast and look good. It will be SEO and submitted and advertised at no cost to any vendors.

Products from Multiple Vendors in One Order
The websites shopping cart can contain products from several vendors, but they will still place one order and pay only once. For proper tracking such order will be then automatically divided into several ones depending on the number of vendors supplying the purchased goods – one order per each vendor.

Vendor-specific Shipping Methods
Each vendor can configure own shipping methods and buyers whose orders contains items from several vendors select vendor-specific shipping options at checkout.

Separate Admin Area for Each Vendor
Each vendor is provided with a separate admin panel to manage own settings and products. Vendors will not interfere with each other's activity.

Multiple Vendors, Single Storefront
Products from multiple independent vendors appear in the common product catalog and the website visitors do shop at one web store even though the products are supplied by hundred of different vendors from all over the world.
