I'm going to Perdido Key, FL near Pensacolafor 9 days tomorrow with family and friends. I was gonna get some pumpkin beer for us to drink there. A 12 pack of Landshark and a 6 pack of pumpkin something. Any domestic brands that are reasonably priced? Thanks.

This time of year there's TONS of pumpkin/fall beers out there. Go into a local beer store & ask the people that work there, they're your best bet.
Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

I've become quite the pumpkin ale connoisseur this season. I like things on the sweeter side, so my favorite is the Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale. The Southern Tier Pumking is a really popular choice, and it's definitely one of the best that I've had, but it's also kind of pricey (between $9 and $12 per 22 oz bottle around here). My other favorites are Post Road and Saranac, both of which I've only had once, but enjoyed immensely. Really, though, in my experience, it's hard to find a bad pumpkin ale. I've tried about a dozen this season, and the only one I outright didn't like was Smuttynose. Also, the Dogfish Head Punk seems to be another really popular pick, but it's just a little too bitter for my liking. Hope this helps.
