    This southern california heat is really putting me out of spirit. Today it was 103! Hurry up fall please! I need crisp cold air and candles burning to be happy

    I'll trade you ... Last week in NY, Hurricane Irene. Two days of sun afterwards and now we have had rain for four days straight. Temp in the 60's.

    Yeah, the latter half of summer in Southern CA has been very warm this year. We occasionally get into the 40s at night in September where I live thanks to the higher elevation, but i don't see that happening this year. But I have noticed some trees (especially maples) are beginning to have a gold tint.

    The weather here was much better today...seems to be letting up.
