This evening I was at a park with my wife and son. This one little tree has begun to turn yellow. It was pretty neat to see... Reminds me how close the season actually is.

All Christmas decorations in stores should go sit down somewhere until Nov. 1st!

Yes they are. I live in NC Iowa and as I was driving through town I saw 2 trees that are already half yellow and one that was half red/orange. As well as others that are starting to have a few small patches of yellow. Also i see crops that are beginning to dry out and turn yellow as well.

Our burning bushes are starting to turn red and the big maple down the road has a large branch whose leaves are also turning red.

that's pretty. Our trees are changing colors too, but mostly from high temps and lack of water. lol

Out of curiosity, why are these threads (threads about the FALL season) being moved off of the General Halloween board this year? It's never been like that since I first started reading the forum back in '06. I think they're relevant to that board. It's not just the ghosts and goblins that make Halloween, well, Halloween. It's the totality of a lot of things, and fall is a major part.

Anyway, to the OP, you're very lucky to be experiencing this already. We're having triple digit heat today.
