So I've recently been researching digging around for hype over the new Borderlands and I'm wondering if anyone else here enjoyed the first game as much as I did? Or if anyone else shares the same excitement for the sequel.

You need to grab the newest game informer magazine. It has a spot about it. Personally, I'm ready for Age of Empires Online.

I never played borderlands, my son did though. I haven't got round to playing it yet. We're a family of gamers, my Sons are always on steam playing multiplayers. I'm looking forward to Deus Ex Human Revolution, Dead Island and Thief 4

I've never been big into magazines. More recently I've been getting my game's/gamer news online. HSITUK - I wish my family understood my love for games and were as into it as I am. I was into Steam and Valve's Counterstrike and Counterstrike: Source 5-6 years ago. Other than that, not so much. When you get the chance though, start Borderlands. It's a great game and there's lots and lots and lots of hours of fun with that game. Replay value is huge because of the four characters. Plus 3-4 DLC packages. It'll keep you busy capping the WHOLE game including DLC.

With that I'm thouroughly excited for the sequel and the new character (whose name escapes me at the moment) The Gunzerker, allowing players to dual wield. While I'm here, I'm interested in hearing what your son thought of the game?
