I know it's still a bit early, but has anyone had any sneak peaks at some fall weather, even in the mornings or evenings? I'm from western pa and it's been very hot but cooled off the past couple days (high 70's) but this evening there was a nice breeze coming in and gonna get some mid 70's later this week. still pretty early, but was a nice change from heat and humidity and nice to see peaks of fall weather here and there.

It's been crazy hot with lots of hail here lately. But we'll likely get our first frost by last week of August. *sigh* love the fall, but winter always seems to jump the gun here.

Yup! Western PA here too. We're starting to feel a change in the air. you can sense Autumn is right around the corner. A welcome relief!

The weather in Vancouver is beautiful. Chilly at night and warm...not hot .. in the daytime.

I don't want fall weather to come because that leads to winter weather. I'm very conflicted around this time of year.

I feast upon the beauty of things that others shun. In netherworlds and crypts I dwell. I am the alien one.
I wallow in the old world, in things that they condemn. Through solitude and shadow, the outsider I am.

It's been touch and go here in MA lol. A couple of weeks ago, we had a few real cool days......and I soaked up every second of it! Opened the windows, lit an Autumn scented candle, made an apple pie Then just like that, the hot and humid weather was back But the past couple of mornings (today included) there's been a slight cool breeze I for one, cannot wait until Fall. And I don't care if that means Winter is right around the corner. I'd much rather be freezing than deal with swamp a**!

SEND SOME OF THAT COOL STUFF TO MD!!

Actually we're getting a break after today, it's only gonna be in the low 90s today with low humidity & then to the 80s we go!!

From the Washington Post weather guys:

    FORECAST IN DETAIL

After 44 days of 90 degree or greater heat, 24 of which (including yesterday) were 95-degrees plus, I think we can take one more before what could be an extended break from such temperatures. Plus, we’re into the time of year where we soon have to battle cooling normals and getting back up to those super-hot values is more difficult. I dare say some mutterings of fall to come might be heard, even if premature yet. Still, I won’t stop you and may join in myself!
I might be able to give my AC a rest & use the attic fan & open windows instead!!
