I know this may be pushing it a little, but a corpse flower? Come on! It just wreaks of the enthralling fragrance of all that Halloween has to offer. Are any of my fellow Houstonians (or Texans, or out-of-staters) planning on "adopting" Audrey and attending her exclusive adoption party on August 27, 2011? If so, let me know.
Pixie Frog and I missed Lois the Corpse Flower's bloom last October, so I made it a point to see Audrey! (PF doesn't know I have an adoption certificate, button, photo and tickets to come back and see the corpse flower in the Cockrell Butterfly Center while it's on display through Labor Day on the way. She's still in Florida on vacation!)
