Cable or satellite? Which do you have and/or prefer? I have cable but I'm thinking about switching to satellite.

I have both and both stink! Cable in master bedroom and SAT in all other rooms. Same old repeats after same old repeats everyday... DVR functions are the only real cool thing about both services.. I use Netflix more often though than I personally view cable TV...

DirecTV. Had Dish Network for several years, but they don't offer the MLB package. I'm finding that I like DirecTV better.
It's not the cable company or satellite company that puts out the same old crap. It's the boring execs that fund and produce the crap.

U-verse here. Despised both cable and satellite; cable for continually raising their rates and not sizing their on-demand server large enough so you could watch a movie in it's entirety without being kicked off the server, and satellite for their lack of customer service, lack of a signal when it got cloudy, and for dropping channels when in a dispute with the content provider while the dispute was going on. I missed a bunch of the last season of "Sons of Anarchy" because of it.

I have Dishnetwork, I cannot even get cable out where I live. they will not bring it out, so in my area its either DirecTV or Dish Network. BUT I have to say thank God for DVR although I do agree about them raising their prices. I love Netflix and misses using it.

Cable here with TIVO DVRs. Used to have DirectTV back in Oregon. The only difference I can tell is the internet is a LOT faster now.
Note about DVRs: I shudder remembering our life before with commercials and having to have appointment TV. DVRs are so liberating.
Hubby is a huge NetFlixer. I'm usually on the internet.

Directv....sucks when bad weather is around...keeps going out despite what their commercials say.
We dont need a body bag, we need a bucket.............and a strainer.
