Thread: Where's the CHAT?

Really. Where is it?

A lot of the chat is now taking place in the Social Groups section of the forum. There are two that I'm aware of where members are chatting:


1) Spooky Singles - very recently formed as a true singles group for folks interested in Halloween to have a way to get to meet other singles here.


2) Socializing Hideaway - formed a while back for members with whatever status (single, married, spoken for, etc.) to have a place to chat and socialize.



Neither group requires an invitation, and neither ever did require an invitation.


I think Spooky Singles is sort of self-explanatory, but some may want to come elaborate on that one anyway.


The Socializing Hideaway is for members to chat about anything but is still in this forum and therefore like all other groups here, is subject to all forum rules. You don't have to be single to join this one.


Single folks can join both groups. Just trying to help explain where at least some of the chat has gone.



And I do realize that everyone is always asking about when the actual chat room is coming back, but until then, we thought we'd make do with what we have and still socialize the best we can...

I didn't know we had ANY chats!!!

I miss chats. Everyone is so Facebook-centric nowadays, I didn't know anyone still did it or had 'em.

Well....outside of the child molesters Chris Hansen nabs!! They're ALLLL about chatting.

I may be wrong on this but I think Larry took the chat away because of the volume of people on the website and he basically needed the room. Someone had asked a while back about it.

Yeah I miss the chat room on here, it was a lot of fun, I remember I would stay in the chat sometimes until 3 am talking to some of you that stay up late loll. It was great to talk to you guys, in a live chat room instead of messages always. I hope someday it comes back

Thank you for bringing it up, TS. Your mentioning of the group may have been what got a couple of new members to join

I've never had the opportunity to use the chat room here, but I can imagine how entertaining it could be at times

Can someone ask him to please bring it back?

And I really do think that he is asked to bring back the chat room regularly.

that has been the talk lately, and I dont know if that will be tbe plan or not.
