Oh, Man... I've been really looking forward to the new Green Lantern movie. One of my favorite Superheroes from childhood. Well the movie is out and apparently it sucks. Has anyone here seen it? As fellow haunters, I value your opinions...

I haven't seen it & it hasn't gotten great reviews which makes me sad.
There's a great piece in EW about Ryan Reynolds BY Ryan Reynolds. He's very well spoken & very funny. Oh & he's smokin' hot too.
Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

Slate's reviewer (Dana Stevens) has always hit really close to how I judge movies, and she said it was quite possibly the worst movie of the year.
Special mention that it was not due to Ryan Reynolds' acting - just that they had a mess of a script, too much exposition and other such problems.

I am going to wait when it comes out to DVD to watch it and judge for myself. The crittis and I dont always agree when it comes to movies.

I read in a group of sci-fi geeks who also heard it was horrible all say they were pleasantly surprised. They said it wasn't awesome but far from the bad reviews it got.

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but I really enjoyed the movie. I knew nothing about the comic character, so if they changed things I don't know. It was a fun popcorn flick.
