Was wondering where you've been Nice to see you back.

sold about 90% of my Halloween stuff. Had a kid. Work has been absurd since October. Older kid has activities now. The typical reasons.

I think for the next few years I might actually take my boys trick or treating and let hallowindow be the only "prop" I set up.

Congrats on the new kid! Hope the job settles down and you still come over here to talk Halloween... you definitely will be missed if you just disappear.

So what have I missed? Any more mass member joins due to exodus from other HW sites?

Whoa! Long time, no hear from! I have slackened off in hitting this site myself. After awhile a certain air of redundancy sets in. The passion waivers, but it never dies...

I understand completely, as I have been mostly AWOL for the last several months too. Hard as it is to believe, life gets in the way of even Halloween sometimes. Not being a great multi-tasker, I just don't even try to take on more than one major project at a time. I figure, once I get past my daughter's wedding in July I can think about Halloween again. Of course, it will be a year of recycling and dumpster diving because I will have NO MONEY left to spend!

Take your kids trick or treating while you can and make the most of it! Those years go by waaaaay too fast!

Well said...I"m in the same boat having had a child 9 months ago. Life does get in the way sometimes, but I look forward to one day being able to throw myself back into Halloween full throttle!

Well, well, well, look what the scooter drug in! :-) 'Course, I see you started this thread about a month ago...obviously I missed it. Hey there!! Always good to know y'all are alive and well at least once a year! :-) What kinda activities did Tanner get into? Our dudes are starting karate lessons soon.

So, they're still cracking the whip on ya at work, eh? At least you are used to that! Hope the Mrs. is enjoying her students!
