    Default Mothers Day Stinks! – 05-08-2011,08:03 PM


    I felt Very emotional today, maybe it is a combination of things, First Mother's Day as an empty nester, First Mother's Day as a Grandma, and yesterday I was going through some papers in my desk and came across
    the Christmas letter My Dad wrote in 1980 about 4 Months after My Mother was killed.

    My Daughter and Grandson (and her fiance) moved out in April, under good terms, about 2 miles from me, we still see each other about 5 times a week. I knew she was working today at her new job as a waitress, from 11:00 til 4ish, and was told she would probably be able to get out early. She Never Called or dropped off a card or anything.
    Man cannot live on bread alone.... (unless he is in a cage and that is all you feed him.)

    Sorry to put this out there, but this is a place I feel I can vent, and I am so unbelievably hurt.

    I'm sorry you had a bad day. You don't have to apologize for how you feel, I'm glad you feel comfortable enough to tell us how you are doing. I hope things are looking up soon.
