Sounds like a fun place just by the street names.

Not me, but it sounds like fun. And I did live in Galveston for a while, where many of the streets are numbered in one direction (1st St, 2nd St, 3rd St, etc) and are the letters of the alphabet in the other direction (Avenue A, Ave. B, Ave. C, etc) so it makes it really easy to find your way around.
What was funny was that when they needed to insert a street, say for instance between Ave. O and Ave. P, they would insert Ave. O 1/2.

Those are cute.

Of course, I prefer names like Graves Ave.
There are two I know of in San Diego.

What a nightmare to give directions
Reminds me of a complaint my brother had when he was stationed in Hawaii. They only have 13 letters in their alphabet so many of the street names look like they are spelled the same with only a very small change. Which of course would be difficult to catch while driving and looking for a street! Heh.
