Was just on another site unrelated. Asked for a little help, explained I wasn't new and knew the rules and the basic fixes for a particular game. I was flamed because I repointed out that I wasn't a "newbie" and knew the fixes and and tried them.
Mind you this is a child to teen originally oriented site that I've been a member of since I was the targeted age range. These are adults that took it over that flamed me.
Wow. Really feeling the love there.

Oh and the problem resolved itself eventually.

I love this site and all you members I honestly do. If Halloweenforum was an actual town or state, I'd move in without even a backward glance.

I so agree, Nyxy there are such wonderful and kind people associated here, I have also heard of a forum where they really jump on people for spelling, and such,
too bad HF isn't a town, "what a wonderful world it would be"!!

Oh I've been on here a while. I just tend to stick to the shadowed areas and pop out and yell boo once in a while. I lurked for 2 or 3 years before I ever signed up. Even had a name change at one point.
I just love this place. Even the few bad apples add some color and blood on the walls before they're deleted into never was-es.

Agree with you completely. HF is amazingly encouraging and supportive. Arrived here from a political forum that wasn't moderated (just imagine that battlefield!). Flame wars on steroids. This was my happy place to go to and eventually just moved in and never went back to that old forum.
