Thread: Worst way to die...

Ok pardon the morbid topic (but come on this is a Halloween site so you can't all be really surprised...)

I'm sitting here perusing the horror movie topics and it brought a scene in my head in The Return of the Living Dead where Trash is talking about ways of dying...


Trash : Do you ever wonder about all the different ways of dying? You know, violently? And wonder, like, what would be the most horrible way to die?


So brings me to my question....in what way of dying do you fear the most or think would be the most awful way to have to go??

For me I'd have to say drowning, the moment that you have to take that first breath in and bring that water into your lungs...scary!

I'd have to say being burned alive, although drowning certainly ranks right up there, too.

Being burned alive was the first thing to come to mind, but since Garthgoyle already said that, the next thing that comes to mind is being tortured to death, starting with fingers being cut off, then toes, being burned and/or branded, sliced and/or cut, electrocuted, and having to watch it all, a slow agonizing death... I'd rather they just kill me up front and get it over with. Aren't you glad you asked?

Buried alive, no question.

Buried alive sounds horrifying too, as well as drowning. Are there any good ways to die other than peacefully in your sleep?

Claustrophobic checking in here. Buried Alive definitely uncool.

When my aunt went on fear factor she was burried alive and said it was pure hell so I'll stick with that one.

Massive heart attack, just dropping dead instantly? That's my best guess...

I have always had this fear, I watched some dateline show of a chick who was sexually abused and tortured for weeks. She some how escaped the day before they had planned on killing her. Its not the fact of being mutilated and the torture that makes it the worst way for me. Its the fact the person gets pleasure out of what they are doing to me. That my life was used by one person and all that I could offer to everyone else is taken by one selfish person. Luckily this will more than likely never happen to me, but for some reason is a fear of mine.

Anything where I am trapped in the wilderness also, being trapped and eaten alive by coyotes is up there on the list.
