Well thanks to that silly ground hog a couple weeks ago, we're having 6 more weeks of winter. AGGGGH!! I look at the count down till Halloween and my panic is starting to rise. I have so much I want to do, and time is slipping away.
My shop is in my garage, and there is no electricity nor heat. If I want electricity, I have to run extention cords to what ever I am doing. And of course, my wife is the ruler of the house, and has declared NO Halloween contruction projects in the house.
So, here I sit, watching it snow, snow, and snow some more. I've shoveled the path to the garage a couple of times where I stand in the dark and cold and feel frustrated. I swear someday I'm gonna get that rodent.....

I feel your pain brother! I want to get out there and do something productive but for me its either too cold, windy or raining! The worst is that if I open my garage door while its windy, the water heater's pilot blows out! I am sick of relighting it over and over and over....
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

I feel your pain, Hallomarine. I have about bits and pieces of stuff strewn all over my computer desk waiting to be assembled into awesome props. There's a pile of stuff on back porch also just sitting there, mocking me. I can't wait for some warm, dry weather.

There are other holidays besides Halloween? When did they start that?

Hey Hallomarine,
Just asking because I'm a dumb blonde, but can't you find a way to bargain with the wife? Women always want something (I should know) so if you find what that is, you may be able to exchange it for a small portion of the house to start working in, at least until the weather clears. Just a suggestion.
And what is this rodent you speak of? Why can't you just trap it or (heaven forbid) poison it?
And ter_ran,
Isn't there a way to block the water heater so that the wind won't blow out its pilot? Just trying to help.
