This is the story of ebony my stray cat that me and my family have been nursing back to health for the past few days and being a black cat in this weather it tore my heart seing it in the cold so i set out to catch it monday night... we found no luck that night and sadly had no hope it would survive overnight in my backyard...

She did! my mom woke me up at six and saw it shivering in the backand. I got the fish net and caught it! she had every symptom of hypothermia besides next one which was comma.. we rushed her to a vet where she was given fluids and warmed up now shes living downstairs.she is unable to walk yet but me famly and i are slowly nursing i back to health! she has one collapsed kidney and pet shelters said they would just kill it because its not salvageable for them to keep.. That was horrible for anyone to do.

she pulled through and i just wanted to share her lifesaving story!

and shes a black cat goes good with halloween!

I'm glad that the cat got rescued, its sad to see animals suffer in the cold.

We have rescued two stray kitties...one in the cold winter two years ago...and they are the most loving, thankful pets! They know that we saved their life and they are very grateful! What a wonderful thing you did!! So glad she is recovering well!!!

im trying to get her to prop up shes very very hopefully shell revover and start to move around.. but we dont know how long hes been out in the coldwithout food... she wasnt a stray for he life so if she ra away or was kicked out i wish i knew more to help here i only have hope anyway as of now shes living on grace cuse she wouldnt have survived the rest of that day in the cold
Thanks for everyones support! i will keep you updated with hows shes doing.. we might not be able to keep her but hopfully we can nurse her back to health and find a lovng home for her athought shes an adult cat we might just snug her in i dont know wha dad will think
