    Default Blizzard of 2011 – 02-01-2011,01:54 PM


    WoWzer! Hubby and I just shoveled around 16" of snow (we live in Kansas City) and the drifts were huge! The winds were around 40 mph gusts and it's still snowing!!! The mayor is getting ready to declare a state of emergency

    So, how's everybody hanging in there with this storm?

    It hasn't been too bad here lately. We only got 3 inches today, but freezing rain and ice is expected for tomorrow.
    Needless to say, all of the grocery stores have been ravaged by the elderly looking for milk and bread.

    creeepycathy, you should be banned for posting that photo and rubbing it in to all of us who are freezing!!! Just kidding, of course! Our blizzard has begun but the worst hasn't arrived yet. We have high winds and blowing snow but not so much accumulation yet. We're supposed to start getting very heavy snow in a few hours.
    Duct tape is a ghoul's best friend.

    umm i need to check my weather and see what is going on. Today was raining and I had a job interview. I was complaining to myself about forgetting to bring my umbrella on the drive over . I know right now, its ice-ing out
