Seeing as the Haunter and Single? Here's the Thread for You has been littered up with much more than just single people, someone suggested I start a thread for singles bio's only. Sooo here it goes.
-I'm 18, turning 19 early April.
-The past couple years I've worked on building my own easy, cheap and simple to build props for Halloween
-Hobbies include; starting a knife collection, helping the old man in the shop, making witty wisecracks with my 'off the beaten path' sense of humor, playing video games, and the always included; hanging out with friends.
-I took cooking through high school and it's somewhat a dream of mine to cook for a living. Completed Commercial Cooking 20 and recieved my food safe level 1 certificate.
I suppose I'm looking for a chick with a decent sense of humour who can stand some ronchy jokes and humour. None of these my s*** don't stink, stuck up, judge the book by the cover, get no second look, Daddy buys me everything I want, Jersey Shore wannabe, girls. But I don't think I'll find any of those here.
Anything else you need to know, ask.

I guess I will be the first girl to post
I am 27 and live in Delta BC Canada. I work in IT as a computer tech and spend a lot of my time on the computer in my off hours. When its warmer out I spend my time working on props for Halloween. I have been running my Halloween display for 10 years now. I'm a very open person and I am very friendly but often shy at first. I am looking for a guy who is close to my age and can share in my Halloween obsession.I swear I'm not crazy its everyone else who is crazy.

32 year old female living in New York. I work as a file clerk for a hospital. I have a healthy obsession with halloween and hope to one day own a mantion filled with errie props, design, dolls, and just stuff. My dream house will be a cross between the Addams Family and The Munsters....but that's too good to be true.
I am a good person at heart, I like to laugh and just be relaxed. Can't afford the luxury of unneeded stress...life is way too short for that.
I am looking for a decent guy who is open minded, that likes to laugh and have fun. He also have to know when to serious but mature enough not too take himself too seriously. The only downfall of Halloween is it only happens once a year.

Good to see this thread is getting some attention. However, I see that my worry has come true. With my young age, it's unlikely there are others my age that keep up to date with any forums of any sort, nevermind a seasonal, Halloween forum :P But I won't give up on such a thing. At least the whole singles thing is starting to get proper attention that I felt was missing in the other singles thread.

Thanks for setting this up, Crunch. I understand how you feel. I won't post my info here because I already posted it on the other thread, but I'll watch here and see if anyone "older" like me and anywhere near TX posts. Thanks again!

I'm just happy to see that it's getting the attention I was hoping for. It's likely I wouldn't have set it up without HF Member Garthgoyle suggesting it. I just put it into action. However Garthgoyle did as well but that thread was closed, it was seen as a duplicate. But this one seems to have gotten quick interest and I'm happy to see it. I'm sick of seeing these GTL (gym, tan, laundry) six and eight pack ab-ed chonches that treat girls like garbage, yet get them all. It's been an on-going battle for the past few years for me, as to many of them judge a book by it's cover. Though, those who know me can say things like "well sometimes you can be a moron :P but for the majority your heart really is in the right place
you are a nice person and people don't give you enough credit for the head on your shoulders". Which really enlightened my mood, considering who it was coming from. Friends of the opposite gender who've gotten to know me, I feel have the same opinion. Though when I shared my feelings, the same could not be returned. One who I've known, seemingly since the beginning of time, says she's known me to long and values our friendship to much to strain it going through a deeper relationship. She worried that if we did and broke up, the friendship would suffer because of it. It bothered me at the time, but I can respect it. However, when I thought about it, it didn't seem like the kind of thing that she would say, given the personality and outlook on things. Again, it bothered me to think that the only alternative to this reason given would be my appearance. Now don't get me wrong, I consider myself fairly Joe-Blow, and don't fall into any stereotypical appearance categories. ie; Goth, punk, metal, emo, scene, etc.

Hey Crunch,
Every once in a while, you may want to make a post in that other thread like this one, just to remind singles that they may post their bios here. It's difficult to have two similar threads like these, but I'll try to help how I can.

well, here goes ....I am single because I lost my husband to cancer in2009.I am raising my 12 year old son who seems to think x-box is the holy grail, enough said there.I love..love Hollaween and would decorate more but I am on a dead end street but l put a bowl of candy out on the porch and go to the neighborhood haunts by myself and come back home and watch scary movies. I work for a flower seed company...have been for 22 yrs.I love to garden and camp...Oh thats another thing i should have
paid more attention to because taking a 25ft camper out on a rainy day does alot on my nerves lol.So anyone fortysomething......crap,I guess I just blew it.

Camping :O I love camping! Sorry to hear of your late husband. Glad to hear that you still enjoy going around to see neighbourhood haunts. And being a gamer myself, I can't imagine the son seeing the xbox as the Holy Grail but it's up there on the list. If he knows what's good for him it'll be the his mom who has the number one spot.
