Last weekend (the 19th, I think) my appendex ruptured. Totally caught me off guard. I thought this was a childhood thing. lol

The pain isn't so bad anymore, I'm just confused as to where the past week of my life has gone. Gotta love those meds. LOL

One good thing tho- I haven't had a freakin' cigarette since then... and it's killing me.

sidenote: morphine is way over-rated.

Poor Cathy, at least you get to eat all the ice cream you want.....that's a joke, I dont think you get crap for an appendex, you do get a new scar though, you can tell people you got it in Nam or something cool, I tell people my kidney stone surgery scar is from a gunshot. Happy Holidays to you and feel better........pssssssssssss(cocaine is a helluva drug,ya know what I am saying?)

Glad you're doing better now, that must have been awful. And yeah morphine sucks.

I think I'll take advantage of the R & R time for the next few weeks. ... hmmmm.... maybe it would be better to R & R at the beach...

Glad you are OK! I just heard from a friend last night that his ruptured too...must be something in the water
