In just over an hour, our Marine will board a flight to come home for two weeks leave. Today is his 20th birthday and we haven't seen him since Jan. 31st. He'll have a layover in Chicago and then arrive in Cleveland tomorrow morning where my oldest son will pick him up and drive back home! Needless to say we are VERY excited to see him.
While he has been training stateside, the separation has still been challenging, and he'll likely be deployed sometime next year. We'll be celebrating big time at our house the next couple of weeks and while he'll miss Christmas by a week, we'll celebrate that early as well! I hope to get some pics of him while he's home.
Just finished putting the tree up today so we're READY!!!!
