My Darling little cat has decided to chew another laptop power lead! this is the 2nd she's destroyed in less than 2 weeks. Thank god the two cables weren't plugged in or she'd have been fried!.. Luckily I have a spare and I've sprayed some bitter tasting pet chew, repellent on it , so hopefully it'll deter her. If she chews this one, does anybody want a very naughty 1 year old Abyssinian mix

LOL! It's like they just fixate on a certain thing because they *know* it's important to you. I hope the bitter spray works for you, I've never tried it but if it does work that may be a good investment.

I'm not bothering putting up a Christmas tree this year, last year her and my other lovely cats trashed it! I found my big fat male cat perched in the branches!

FTR, don't get any of that bitter stuff in YOUR mouth. It's called "bitter whatever" for a reason!! Not that I'd know anything about getting it in my mouth.

I'm already having nightmares about our tree this year with the 2 new gatos. They're about a year old now & this will be our first Christmas with them & I already know I'm not putting any glass ornaments on the tree or any fabric ornaments within their reach.

She's beautiful HSITUK. It's like they know the prettier & cuter they are the more they can get away with. That face is just saying "I DARE you punish me! LOOK AT THESE EYES!! I'M BYOOOTEEFULLLLL & YOU ARE POWERLESS!! MWAH-HA-HA!!

I had a cat many years ago that loved to chew on my headphone cords. This was back in the day when we had those big head phones & cords. I must've went through a pair every 3-6 months or so. If I didn't remember to put them outta her reach she'd get them every time.

I've heard it's some sort of deficiency & eating those things fixes it. I say it's just that they're jealous of those things & how much time you spend with them. They figure if they're destroyed you'll spend more time with the kitty.

So true, she manipulates me all the time with her cuteness. She's a little bugger, she's always causing trouble with my 3 other cats. They'll be lying on the floor and she comes along then sits on their heads lol it always ends with fur flying!
