I'm not really sure what to do with it. A part of me says kill it, but it's so dang cool and unusual I kind of hate to do that.
What would you do?

Drive it faaaaar away from civilization and let it go! Or you could contact the cooperative extension or zoo folk in your area. You may also try the hospital to see if they need it for making vaccine... At the very least, I would not recommend you cuddle up to it on a cold winter's night. Cool as it may be - you just might become your own prop...

Set it free somewhere remote, please don't kill it. It has just as much right to live as humans do

Well she was pretty much dormant and only got frisky when I was getting her into the container. She soon balled up again in some webbing she laid out and seems to have gone dormant again so I figure she will keep for a little while longer.

There was a few people here in Canada finding black widow spiders in grapes. Pretty scary stuff!
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

Thanks for not killing her. I hope you decide to keep her alive, wherever you may end up putting her. What sort of container do you have her in?
