Halloween is over for another year ,what do we do now?

I will be looking at all the members Halloween pic's all year long. Tons of great pics and ideas!

I've started planning for next year... hoping to plant corn for a corn maze. The neighbors in my subdivsion are going to love that! LOL Am really, really bored with my cemetery.
Otherwise, going to sit back and enjoy the season. Love the beautiful fall foliage. This morning will make some hot chocolate and probably soak my feet in it. It's freezing in this house!

My feet just recovered from all the walking I did on Halloween, now I am finishing up my Light O Rama songs for my christmas display.

Go buy Christmas lights NOW!!

I went to Target yesterday for some storage stuff, Halloween sale stuff & they had all their lights out & I bought 4 boxes. I'm changing over from regular mini lights to LED & needed some more.

Last year when we went out the first week of Dec. I couldn't find the right kind.

You used to have about 3 or 4 choices in lights for your tree, mini lights, night light bulb sized lights, that next size up & the specialty lights like bubble lights. Now there's about 10 different kinds & if you don't buy the right kind NOW they won't be there in December when you reallly need them.

I am also trying to figure out where & what to put away & if I wanna go up into the cold attic by myself to sit & sort out what's up there.

Every year at this "put Halloween away" time I see all the Christmas stuff in the attic & basement & think "I should just bring it all down NOW & put it up...just get it over with!!"

I thought about doing that RCIAG, but I get tired of the tree by Christmas when I put it up the day after Thanksgiving. I'd probably end up taking it down by the first of December if I put it up now.

I can't believe we're talking about Christmas lights! And the stupid thing is that I KNOW I should be putting them up outside now while the weather's good, since I'm not turning on the orange lights any more. Does anyone else find this in-between holidays phase weird? Christmas means snow, and I can't hack that yet. So it will remain October 31st for a little bit longer inside my house at least...

Amen, sister! I'm having a little hard time making the transition myself this year. I can't even start thinking about Christmas until after Thanksgiving. I'd like to enjoy one holiday at a time, thanks.
