i do not know if this is where this goes but i am warning you not to buy from pale night productions...i ordered somthing from them at the beginning of august and still they have not shipped it i could see a small delay but this is crazy

I've got to be honest, I haven't been terribly happy with any of my Halloween related orders. It sure seems like a "laid back" and slow industry. The last two I called, checked stock and ship date and ordered over the phone, neither shipped when they said they would. One I canceled, the other is supposed to be here Tuesday.

Note neither of my orders were from Pale Night.

A friend of mine alerted me to this thread. I have a couple questions for you.

1. Why, if you were having problems, did you not contact me but instead decided to make some public show of your dissatisfaction.

2. What did you even order? I have no record of an order to BlackWaterFX or blackwaterfx@gmail.com. If you ordered under a different name/email...it already shipped. I have NO small outstanding orders. We only have a handful of large props outstanding right now and I have been in contact with every one of those customers.

I'm really curious to get some answers on this.

it is under another name we did contact you and a month from order to arrival is unacceptable i could hand deliver something to the south pole faster

So, we already delivered your product AND responded to your inquiry and you're still mad about it? I'd like to know what name or email the order was under so that I can see just how long your order actually took to ship. I think that you're being vague on purpose. I'm betting you ordered blood, which we were out of stock on for a week or so, and that between us restocking and then filling the outstanding orders your order shipped a couple weeks after it was placed.

To date, we have had only a handful of people that have been upset with our service and, save one very unreasonable woman, we have always made things right. Our customer service stands on it's own and any reasonable customer of ours will attest to that.

it was blood....also there was nothing on the site saying it was out of stock. It still has not arrived also when we contacted you..you never said you were out of stock also how can you be out of stock of blood when you make it....trust me i am not a unreasonable customer i would even order again but i would have to be guaranteed a real delivery time frame...our last email was never answered so your customer service is lacking there the paypal transaction number is #4kh24539bx9889153

I haven't ordered from this place. Sorry I can't give any personal experience. I have ordered a lot of things over the net. My experiences with them have been good. All my orders from each of the companies were complete and arrived in a timely manner. I have checked out Pale Nights site. I am impressed with the products and the pricing. At this time I am not ordering from anyone, so I still can't give a report on the experience.
Communication is the best thing that can be used. Both parties need to be kept up to date of orders and delays that may be involved. Good customer service is a plus with any business. If I do order, I will post my experience here.

Please remember to keep responses polite.

If this review can be resolved into a good outcome, then it would be a benefit both for the original poster and for the company in question - and anyone that views the thread looking for how the company resolves problems. (and the title can be changed to reflect a good outcome if this does happen)

We have had complaint threads turn out well for both - and it reflects well on the company if they care enough to fix whatever problems crop up.
