Thread: Fearscape Studios masks are excellent!

Just wanted to put out the good word about the masks from Fearcape Studios. I had ordered the Necrosis zombie mask from them 2 years ago and at the time was quite wary of spending so much on a sight-unseen mask. Sure the pictures on the web-site looked great but would it look as good in person? I was blown away when it arrived though - it matched the web-site photos exactly! No bait-and-switch here! The quality of the mask was excellent - with most of the cheaper masks the latex is almost paper-thin however this mask was really well made being about 1/16" thick. The paint job was just awesome, so much so that most kids didn't want to come near me!

I have to add though that what really sets Fearscape apart is the customer service. I recently ordered a set of Morning Sickness zombie hands to go along with my mask. There was some confusion regarding the shipping costs to Canada (only an extra $10) and also some emails between Todd and myself went missing leading to a bit of a delay. When I spoke to him on the phone he was super helpful and apologetic for the mix-up and said he would ship the hands right away. He even said he'd through in an unfinished (missing the hair) Morning Sickness zombie mask he had on hand as a way of making it up to me. That was very unexpected and very nice of him - now THAT is what I call customer service! I certainly wouldn't hesitate to order more of Fearscape's excellent masks in the future knowing that Todd really stands behind his product and will go the extra mile to ensure you're completely happy.

Here's a pic of me from this last Halloween in my Fearscape Necrosis zombie mask with my brother in a regular store-bought mask for comparison. Actually there's no comparison.

Good info Hector! Another good mask company. It's good to know you can still get quality masks even though they might cost a bit more. I'm liking the pumpkin head one they offer. Thanks for the info and the pic of you is great!

We carry a few Fearscape masks on our website. They are very well made. They are actually produced at a mask factory in Mexico - the same place that produces the best of the Bump in the Night masks (some of theirs are made in China), as well as their own line of Ghoulish Productions masks, which make up probably 80% of the masks we sell. They'll also be producing the new masks for Trick or Treat Studios this year - you may have seen these guys in St. Louis. So all of these can be bought with confidence - great thickness, excellent paint, etc.
