Let's see - I talked to him Friday morning and he said he was going to take care of my issue that day, but I only got the shipping email from USPS yesterday, so keep hope

Then again, I need to not get too excited until I see if what I ordered is what's in the box this time.

However, it doesn't overcome the fact that Joe lied to me about items shipping several times over the past month...

Thank you all for the kind words, I'm glad the effort is appreciated
I'm sorry that some of you felt lied to, I'm certain that wasn't the intention. I will personally be taking a much larger role in the company going forward, utilizing both my experience on the web as well as in customer service. I've been helping go through emails over the past couple of days and WOW let me tell you I can't believe how many there are
We are replying to all of them, but it's going to take some time just to catch up with the emails we are behind on, let alone get to the new ones coming in. As I've said before, with our new computer system, staff and - coming soon - our new website (yup, you heard it here first, I'm working on it - although it's going to have to be put on hold until after Halloween now), this is not going to happen again. All of these changes are being done with growth in mind - growth that we didn't quite anticipate this time around.
I'd like to thank one of our customers named Shanna who suggested that we post a message on the website. I'm sorry we didn't do so sooner, but we finally got one up there. Just so everybody who stops by here can see, here's the message in it's entirety:

We were forced to move into a new warehouse and bring on some extra help this season, and we should now be able to catch up well before Halloween. After my recent order experience with Hauntedprops.com it led me to searching the internet for info on them and that led me to this thread and joining.
I hate to say that they've been a "NIGHTMARE" to deal with so far (pun intended)
I was looking for a good halloween CD (most are terrible that i've heard) to play in the background while the tricker treaters came by and I found the POISON CD's on their website exactly what I was looking for so while I was going to order I ordered another prop that I had seen in stores the 6 FOOT HANGING GRIM REAPER W/LED EYES 13252 for a really good price so I added it to my order and ordered. From there is where things have gone south.
Most of the rest of this will be cut and paste from my emails to them.
I ordered on Date Of Order: 9/6/2008 3:46:00 PM and didn't hear or receive anything from them so on 9/23 i send an email from my order confirmation email.
Me "I would like to know the status of my order. Thanks"
Their reply "Hello
cd we sold out but more coming in this week will ship together
We apologize for the delay in a response. We are having a great season and are extremely busy shipping

10/4 I receive my order yay! BUT ODD AND INCORRECT! BOO! so I email them again.
ME: Hello,
I received my order and it is incorrect. I ordered the 6ft Hanging Grim Reaper With LED eyes Item# 13252 and I received 6ft Standing Skull Man item# 13194. I can take a picture of what was sent and the label if necessary. Also the CD is great, but it is a burned/homemade CD and I think that should be stated on the website since it won't work with all players. I haven't checked if what I will be using outside plays CD-R's yet. If we could get this remedied ASAP since Halloween is quickly aproaching I'd appreciate it.

My apologies in advance for the long winded email.
The reason I say it looks like a burnt copy is because it didn't come wrapped and the case says CD recordable on the inside. The CD itself looks like one of the decent looking CD labels is placed on top of a recordable CD. As long as it works that's all that I care at this point because it is an excellent CD and was exactly what I was looking for, but I wouldn't buy any of the others for $17 + shipping for it to be a copy. Now if it was done by the "composer" who just doesn't have the means to have it mass produced and does it at home then great job on it, but seeing as the website says it was "CREATED BY ADAM JOHNSTON EMMY AWARD WINNER AND GOLDEN REEL AWARD". Although I don't know who he is I was expecting a mass market CD.
As for the Standing Skeleton I would like to return it for refund since it's not what I ordered and you're out of the one that I did order.
