I didn't order any of that stuff, but the items I did order... haven't heard a word. I ordered a multi-channel i-zombie lightning machine, some chains and a flying witch prop (which were on blow-out, so i've got to assume they are NOT out of stock and he was trying to get rid of them) a bag of those fake little cheap spiders and one large spider prop (from what I've read in these posts, it looks like perhaps that one may be back ordered)
I can understand the large spider being delayed, but the rest??? Sorry, all I see there is someone not doing their job. (even if it's ALL back-ordered... no communication is STILL not doing your job)
I can live with everything being delayed except the lightning machine as I need/want to do some testing with that before using it. As for the props, I can put those up anywhere and anytime.
Okay, I just got another email a few minutes ago stating that ANOTHER package was shipped from Hauntedprops today and should be here on Friday or Saturday.
So hopefully I will get one tomorrow and one a couple of days after. That will make 4 deliveries so far. CRAZY!!!!!

I finally got a email as well, how swamped they are, tons of emails, etc.
Also saying that my stuff would be shipping out in two shipments (great, because I was told that two weeks ago) and I should have gotten tracking numbers.
Have I gotten them? Nope.
I'm quite frustrated, as I wanted to start the haunting decorations today...
Well I'm having issues as well - ordered a month ago the webshooter, a mask and two other props.
The customer service is beyond horrible. I don't care how busy, overwhelmed, swamped he is....if he's a one man show then during the busy time he needs to hire someone to answer phones and emails.
I got an email over the weekend that just said "shipped". Seriously. That was in response to my email to him that asked where things were.
My credit card was charged for the entire amount of the order (over $250). Yesterday I got 1 box. Guess what - not something I ordered.
I then called, left a very annoyed voice mail and then emailed him.
Of course, no response yet.
So now my card has been charged. I have an item that isn't mine - I told him if this was to replace another item that he couldn't get that I didn't want it and that he would need to come up with a way to pay to get it back. I'm not paying for shipping obviously.
I am very close to emailing him to cancel the order and if I don't get a timely response I'll dispute with my credit card company.
I understand delays - it's the lack of communication that is appalling. I had another company that was a bit delayed on my order.
They always emailed right back and then gave me options - because it was one costume that was causing the delay they offered to split the order up.
For those of you unsure if your card has been charged - I guarantee you - if you have at least gotten one item out of the order, the entire order has been charged.
I got my web shooter but not the glue sticks that I ordered with it. And this morning I checked the status of the package that was supposed to be here TODAY by 10 and now they are saying it will be here TOMORROW!!!

It's probably after the fact, but we've got a cobweb machine that people tend to like better than the glue gun - FrightTime Productions - SPECIAL EFFECTS
I'm really sorry to hear this stuff from you guys. Obviously Haunted Props is proving to be no better than Spooky Planet.
In all fairness on my end,i haven't been charged for anything,(unlike spookyplanet charging people & get nothing) as for the others, i have never had this prob from him in the past,
but then again I have bought way before oct,like in the summer time & it's been fine.But there is no excuss for no communication or disable buy button with a side note,temp out of stock- like the others do.

Still no word BUT I did get - just now - another box. It did have the rest of my order in it. Now the issue will be what is going on with the prop I got that I didn't order, and where the prop I ordered is - or if this one was a substitute, of which case, I need my money back and he needs to send a tag to have this one shipped back.
I ordered a very specific prop for a very specific theme we are doing in one section of the walk through. The sub won't cut it. And I'm not even sure if that's what it was or not since he hasn't responded to any emails.
I'll have to say - the shipping in pieces - whether it's drop shipping or not - will be one reason I never will order from the site again. That though is far from the worst part - the communication factor. He seriously needs to hire someone for a couple months during the busy time - a simple email will go a long way in making someone feel better.
I know that when I initially placed my order, his wife called me from their home in NY and requested my credit card info and we chatted for a few minutes. It was a nice conversation and Joe's emails (before I ordered) were always pleasant and informative.
After I placed my order, they did send me a confirmation quote that was wrong. WAY WRONG! By about a $1,000! But he fixed that and now hopefully, I have only been charged for what I ordered.
Since that time though, communication has been scarce.
