    THEY SENT ME TO WRONG ITEM!!! I just got it in the mail today, and it wasnt even the right costume. I think this Halloween is ruined.
    Here is my email to them
    "Joe and Haunted Props staff,

    I'm disappointed to say that I finally received a "costume" today. But not the right one. First off I ordered September 30 and though I was promised it was in stock at that time (the XXL Jason Voorhees costume RU56064XL SIZE 46-52) when it apparently wasn't. I was then in agreement with your company that I would wait a little while for the costume to be in stock as long as it was sent to me before Halloween. I waited very patiently for this costume because it was the only one of its kind within reasonable price and it was very important for me to have that exact costume. When it arrived today I noticed that the box was quite small and upon opening it found that it was a XL cheap version of a Jason Voorhees costume that I could have bought at Wal-Mart for much cheaper. The item number that was sent to me was #674 (not even listed on the site) when the item i ordered was number RU56064XL SIZE 46-52 . I'm hosting a gore Halloween party and couldn't possibly embarrass myself by wearing such a cheaply made costume when I trusted your company in their promise to send me the closest costume to movie quality that i am expected to be wearing. I am extremely disappointed with the service or lack there of, that I experienced with this purchase. I expect to be over-nighted the correct costume by Halloween since I have been nothing but trusting and patient with this ridiculous process even though most of my phone calls are never returned and it takes more time than necessary to e-mail me back. My address, order number and phone number are listed below so no mistakes can be made. Also you need to send me a return mailing slip so I can ship this costume that I didn't order back to you. I have no need to for it, and refuse to pay for this.

    Please give me a call so we can work this out. "

    All I got was an Auto Response saying they are getting a bunch of emails, and that all orders would be shipping soon blah blah blah.

    I would just say NEVER order from this site. I hope they can make things right before Halloween. But Im not counting on it.

    Recieved a mail from Larry today , very helpfull and within 2 hours of me mailing him back he has offered me a different item as the one i ordered is not in stock.

    Looks like larry is trying to help but it also looks like there suppliers have let them down.

    All I can say is that if the items are not on the shelf please dont offer them for sale.

    I will wait to see if my order arrives but on face value it looks like larry is trying to help..

    I would not hold your breath. I email Larry through here about the issues I had with my order being wrong since he seemed to want to know in order to correct things for next year, but by the sounds of it all he did was implement an auto response message for emails. Lol what a joke and fraud of a company. I had the same thing happen as Mad-Rex. I order one thing and they send something else. The only thing they had in common was the price.

    Hmmm - That's odd. All the e-mails I've received from Larry have been direct responses to my questions. No automated anything.

    As for HP being a joke of a company... maybe not a joke, but certainly some issues.

    The jury is still out, and the final verdict (for me anyway) will be on what happens with the final item I'm waiting for. Understandably, some others here have already made up thier minds based on their own circumstances. For me, it will boil down to how they handle the last item... as it just happens to be (unfortunately) the most important item for my display.

    First of all, hey everyone, I'm new to the group!

    Second, I placed an order with HauntedProps on the 5th of this month and I have yet to receive anything (including any sort of shipping info). I did get an order number E-mail immediately after I placed the order, but any E-mail queries I have sent have been replied to with the standard automated form letter.

    18 days I've been waiting and now, with the Big H just a week away, I don't expect to see the essential items I ordered in time!

    Note, we do a very extensive interactive yard display and while I didn't spend a TON of money on my order with this company, it was in excess of $140, so it wasn't just an order for a rubber spider here...

    Clearly something is rotten with this company in that they can't have one person there who's SOLE job is to respond to customer E-mails and phone calls in a timely and accurate fashion.

    Anyway, crossing my fingers and hoping the items arrive soon (as we are doing the bulk of our decorating this weekend).

    Yeah, I hear ya. I spent over $500 and ordered 2 weeks before you did. If you read over this entire post, you'll see people that ordered Creature Reacher costumes... those are all over $200 alone!!! And they most likely ordered more more things along with those. Many of those people ordered even before I did... so they are going on 8 weeks plus. These items really add up and HP stands to lose a decent amount of money if they piss off too many more people here.

    Best advice I can give you is to go back through this thread, find and contact Larry Fulkerson and see if he can either help you or at least get you an answer.

    Good luck, you'll need it. I'm losing faith with each passing hour.

    For me i canceled all orders,too many delays & not enough pos that gave me hope that i would get my stuff before halloween.I know some were in need of theyre stuff weeks ago for parties. Being that they,HP, don't even know when they will get stuff or if it will be ready & drop shipped is another story. This year i have lost hope & unless i can see positive proof that they have a handle on only selling what they have IN HAND, i ill not be back next year at all............. I have had to turn to another vendor that did have my creature reacher in stock (found a few extra) for only $10. more,so i now have what i need.Matter of fact i have ordered a sh*t load of stuff in the last 2 weeks & all came in on time & with proper notice of trackable shipping from all other vendors,as should be.
    When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

    I never received a response from Larry when I emailed him through here a week or so ago or from haunted props after I asked for a refund a few weeks ago. At the time I contacted hauntedprops there was no auto response message for emails I got that info from the last few posters responses.

    When i emailed larry,he did get back to me in a couple days,as he said he would be off line for a couple days,but did respond. Unfortunately not with any info from the factory as to when anything will be available for shipping out........

    I just returned from out of town for 5 days and have no emails from Larry. I emailed HP on Saturday before I left and cencelled the remainder of my order that still had not arrived. I figured since there was less than 2 weeks until Halloween (this being last Saturday), that I was not going to hold out hope any longer that my order would arrive.

    Larry, did you get the email cancelling my order for the hanging corpse and the Bat Creature Reacher? I hope it was cancelled because if it shows up after Halloween, I'm not paying for it.

    Also Larry, I never received a replacement costume for the Midnight Howler CR that arrived with no shirt/belt in the box, so that costume is pretty much useless to us come next Friday night unless I drive the 2 hours to the nearest fabric store (which I refuse to do) and sew a costume (which I also refuse to do).

    *sigh*

    So goes the best laid plans of mice and men...........
