I emailed Adam the maker of the CD (he responded the same day) I ordered from hauntedprops and he said my CD is legit and said Joe is a good guy just swamped, but that doesn't make up for the fact that they shipped me the wrong item and did nothing to remedy it. The item I did order is now out of stock and probably already was when I ordered so it can't be remedied anyway. Poor customer service and threads like this will keep good customers away from bad businesses I hope. I will never do any business with them again.

If anyone likes the POISON CD line that I got from hauntedprops it can also be purchased from poisonprops.com which is where I will buy mine next time if I get more.

I ended up sending a nasty-gram via fax (the only way to get through apparently) to Joe on Thursday, and he ended up calling me around 10:45pm Thursday night to apologize, and tell me that my order will ship Friday the 10th. So now, I am crossing my fingers, hoping that my order comes next week.

If not, you can rest assured that I will let you know.

The sellers on EBay i am surprised that they too are selling the same creature reachers that i ordered from HP, told them that seems like they are now heading for the same prob, selling something that the manufacturer hasne't even product yet.
They said that if this is the case that they were misslead then by Rubies & may have to refund & back out these listings as they do not what the same reputation due to the manufacturer. Yes why sell what you don't have in hand- just like a credit card, people too fast to spend the credit & get into trouble when they can't pay the bill,if ya ain't got it ,ya can't spend/sell it !!

Thank you for being the 3rd to confirm this situation with Rubies & creature reachers. Somewhat reassuring as to Joe being a good guy,but yes he should be on here & yes no excusses for not being on top of things more. I run 3 different biz's
so i feel i can speak from experience, i always stay on top of what's going on,supplies & jobs wise.Ain't got it,can't do it until i get it,then i make my deals !

Yeah, the Creature Reachers have been touch and go this year.
Day before yesterday, I checked the Morris warehouse and they had 10 in stock - this was the Freak 'N Monster one. Sold one yesterday and went to ship it and they were out of stock! So I had to send a refund because we won't get any m ore before Halloween.
All of our products are shipped directly from the Morris worldwide distribution center. Apparently, they are getting around 10,000 orders a day. So 10 of those Creature Reachers sold out in the same day.
I was really taken by surprise.
This is peak season - which is why most people buy their Halloween costumes etc. in August and September. Most of the big haunts buy their props in the spring time to avoid the Halloween rush.

I'm so fed up with trying to make adjustments to these stupid Creature Reacher costumes that I am thinking of just throwing the damned things on Ebay and see what I can get for them BEFORE Halloween. I still have enough costumes from previous years that I could use. And they don't need to be altered or "fixed".

Creature Reachers suck!

So I just got a call from Joe... first time I've ever heard from him. Said he wasn't at a computer and asked what I was missing (I had left am irritated voicemail earlier) Told him I was mainly concerned about the i-zombie lightning machine. He said they were back-ordered... selling like crazy this year... no idea why... said he expects them in next week and he'd express ship it when it came in. All I could think was "********". Lie to me once, shame on you, lie to me twice... "********".

It was SUPPOSED to have ALREADY shipped on Monday... at least that's what I was told by Larry on Monday evening. Of course, that was after we all started bitching in this post and Larry posted... in actuallity, it SHOULD have shipped 2 weeks prior to that!!!

Oh, and BTW... I checked their site... they still show my item for sale... no mention of it being out of stock or back-ordered or anything. What a crappy company. I'll NOT be ordering from them EVER again.

Yes, HauntedProps.com is a real company. They are also a Better Business Bureau accredited business, and, I'm sure, operating legally.
BetterBusinessBureau

As for them maybe being just one or two people, that's the case with several different online Halloween stores - me included. Of course, I don't have the volume of orders etc. that HauntedProps supposedly does. FrightTime Productions is composed of me and my wife and that's it.

I am contacting the Better Businees Bureau on Monday to find out about this company. I am sick and tired of rip off companies like this taking my money. Last year it was Halloween Asylum and now it is Haunted Props.
Dude, you need to chill. All we can do is wait. Feel free to be mad ... but you're still gonna have to wait.

WOW! I don't think he was promoting himself at all. Where the hell did that post come from? He stated the guy may be working on his own. Man you must have read something into that I didn't.
