Friday & no email as to the 'props" that were supposed to be received this week for shipping..................... I've had crappy FleaBay sellers do better than this..........

So, as you might have guessed I still didn't get my costume in the mail. But I did get a call from Joe telling me that he didn't even have the costume in stock. Which is weird as I emailed them before I even placed an order, and asked if they had the item in stock. Anyway he said that once he did get it, he would over night it to me. But he gave me no idea on when he would get the item in stock. So I am just wondering if they are telling Larry that my item will be shipped out Tuesday, and then they tell me they don't even have it... should I be worried? I hate being a pain in the ass, but its getting close to Halloween, and I need to know if I have to cancel my order and go somewhere els.

Now thats straight up,messed up BS. I think "Joe" is way in too deep & needs to let people know that he has no way of knowing ,if at all,when he'll have stuff in stock to ship.
For you to get a call that he doesn't have it,but they had told larry to tell you that it's been shipped tues.......
maybe "Joe" needs to make a formal appearance here instead of Larry, which I give Larry credit for trying to help,but the problem
is were the storys are coming from-"Joe". I emailed yesterday as to whats up & if this an unknown delay,then i need to know as i found them elsewhere.
Already bought one off EBay & the seller shipped & i have it now !

Interesting, i just found the same costume ( demon beast ) creature reacher on ebay, 2 sellers, i asked if they physically had them as they showed for buy,
& a few still available, both just responded that they didn't have them but were waiting on supplier,hopefully mon or tue,but were waiting. interesting

Call me naive...why sell things that you don't have or don't if you can get......?????

Darklord, I wanted to let you know about the demon beast creature reacher. I ordered a few of those from rubies in MARCH. They have been on back order since. So don't expect any of them to have it.

Now, I have been watching this thread ever since it has been started and I tried not responding but I think it's about time I share my thoughts on this. I am newly in business with halloween retail. This was a test year for me. I have felt the late shipments from rubies and I somewhat feel what hauntedprops.com is going through but there still is no excuses. My firm believe about a business is always be honest with your customers and let them know what is really going on. I am willing to lose money to make a customer happy. Just the fact that you went above and beyond for a customer is the best thing for a business. I think its great that Larry is here trying to help out but it shouldn't be Larry here. Joe himself should be on these forums helping everyone out. He is giving everyone a run around to get there items. I somewhat believe that they are making themselves to be greater than they really are. It comes back down to NO EXCUSES!

I actually did on Thursday regarding getting a call tag to me to have the prop I got that I didn't order returned.

Well, before I was upset... now I'm pissed! A vauge email saying "your order will ship soon" is one thing, but I was told on Monday that my order DID ship on Monday and would be here this week. It's Saturday and no package, no shipping info... nothing. Guess that's why they shoot out these vauge emails in the first place. I can't stand being lied to by a company like that... ESPECIALLY when they've already admitted that they screwed up and are telling me they are shipping ASAP to make up for it.

Larry is the one that said it shipped Monday, but in his defense, the email DID say that he was "assured it shipped today" (Monday). It's my feeling that Joe lied to him so he could tell me that. Looks like (my opinion) that Joe lies to his customers as WELL as his employees. *sigh*
