I don't understand why an owner of a company would want or is concerned about getting redirects of a bad reputationed company to his new company. My idea would be to not get related or redirected in any manner. Don't associate a new business with anything of a bad business. As you can see, there's a bad taste now, and I don't think it's going away.

Build your new company as a new company. Start it's own reputation.

Why have this thread deleted? There are other sites with threads discussing Spooky Planet's business practices.

Echoing other members opinions that a reasonable business entrepreneur would avoid a bad name like the plague.

The best thing for you to do would be to dump the whole Spookyplanet thing. Even at a minimal amount, you overpaid for the domain. To be fair he should have paid you to take it.

Removing this thread would have a minimal effect on the site's reputation. You have a long, hard road ahead of you.
