I bought a couple of props from those guys last year. They were pretty professional. The items arrived in great condition and in a timely manner. I'd buy from them again.

Thanks. I'm thinking about getting some Creature Reachers from them.

Ugh. Not disputing anyone who had a positive transaction, but mine could not be worse if they tried (and maybe they are?)

On August 17th, I bought a limited-edition ($105) toy from Toynk on ebay & paid the same day. The item arrived on August 20, bit it was a standard ($17) version.

I sent emails on 8/20, 8/24, 8/27, and 8/28. I left phone messages to the support line on 8/26 and 8/27. That's a total of six attempts made to resolve this problem and not one reply from Toynk.

I sent the item back for refund on 8/29 and I sent an email and left a phone message then as well. Tracking shows the item was received by Toynk on 9/2.

To date (9/8) no refund has been issued and (surprise!) my emails on 9/5 and 9/8 as well as my phone messages on the same days have gone ignored.

I will be filing a credit card chargeback tomorrow. I may get my refund, but it should not have to be this much hassle.

Check Toynk's ebay feedback. It appears that as long as they ship you the correct item, it's an adequate transaction but if you ever come to need their assistance, well, you'd be better off wishing upon a star! They are really good at ignoring requests and not so much at helping problems get resolved.

I'd think long and hard about spending any money with a company that demonstrates such complete apathy towards providing servicable support levels.

I'm now out the item, the money and shipping both ways - all stemming from a careless shipping error on their part. Don't take the risk!

See this as well:

I'm with the last poster on the communication with this company. I sent several email inquiries regarding an item they had for sale on ebay, and never received any type of response. That's all I needed to steer clear.
