Well I bought the Creature Reacher, shipped fast but after one night of use something happened to the Dayton Motor, the shaft won't turn, motor tries to turn it but it seen slike something came apart inside. Tried E-mailing twice and have not gotten a response yet. again this was after one night, not continious I had it hooked up to a motion sensor. To be honest I'm a bit disapointed at this point.

Is it one of the new Daytons? I tested one out and it worked fine. I put it on a crank and it wouldn't turn. I looked at it closely and realized it was tightened down crooked. I loosened the screws a bit and it worked. The larger, flatter gear box seems to flex easier than the previous 6rpm motor, causing the gears to bind up. I would check it out a little closer, maybe something hit it causing it to move and bind up. Hopefully it's that simple. Good luck!

This is a 50 rpm motor not a FCG motor, the gearbox is sealed...Still no response from jason, I decided to order a new one. I spent over $600 and can't get a respone over a $45 motor?? I know he's getting the E-Mails too!

I've tried to email this guy several times over the past month and haven't received a single response. Both through his website and ebay inquiries.

    I'll pass

I ordered from this person last year. The prop was hand made. I was satisfied for the price. However I made several modifications since I purchased it.

Its a great prop for the beginner, and if you are like me you'll re-engineer it quickly to do what you want. I have no problem with the seller, he was very nice. Some people are upset at his products cause they could have purchased the supplies at Home Depot and made it themselves. However that's easier said once you know what it takes to make a prop like this. Until then you're in the dark and full of questions. After you know what to do, it's a lot easier to repeat it. So I have no problem with Hill Top Zombie Shop, I have a problem with the ebayers who criticize his work, effort and service.

I think of it this way, its very easy to build a car once you have done it, but from idea to prototype, to production is a lot of work. Once you have it mastered you can easily repeat the work. Thus how Henry Ford made his career.
