US Toy is similar to Oriental Trading Company. I'm lucky enough to have one of their stores here in town and I'm over there quite frequently in the fall. Tons of carnival items, teacher supplies and their own magic shop. They also carry some smaller lighting like strobes and blacklights. Good prices, better if you buy in quantity. Not top notch quality but perfect for dark nights with minimal costs.

US Toy also has a costume department and they sell everything from the discount stuff to the higher quality items.

They are different parts of the same company and you can navigate over to the other from each site by clicking on the links at the bottom of the page. Constructive Playthings has more of the educational stuff.

I agree - they have lots of really interesting things for cheap. I even found quite a bit of Halloween decor at the store in my area. Picked up a tombstone for $10 that was $20 at the Spirit store.

Also, they have a wonderful science area that is targeted for teachers, but has plenty that would work for mad scientist props. Art supplies, paper goods for parties, and some really great toys that aren't seen in regular stores.
