I thought I would take a minute to express my pleasurable BUYING experience with the "SkullShoppe".

Last month I found a thread in the "for sale by merchant" section of this site where the SkullShoppe was offering single 1-piece skulls (model: HSTM-E) at an very reasonable introductory price of $30 which included shipping.

I had "heard" the SkullShoppe's quality was very good for their higher priced skulls but to be honest was a little skeptical about what I would be getting for a $30 version. I expected an o.k. quality skull. I was dead wrong!

Now if you have seen photos / videos from my "home haunt", I have purchases A LOT of skulls from various vendors and have always been a little disappointed with what I received for the price I paid ... THIS IS NOT THE CASE HERE!

Upon ordering the HSTM-E product, I was constantly updated via email as to the status / progress of the skulls production / shipping, etc which was a definite plus.

The skull arrived in a timely manner and upon opening the box, I was immediately surprised as to HOW GOOD the skull was / is. Even though it is a 1-piece, hollow skull, the attention to detail is amazing. The sculpt is terrific, pain job outstanding, and even close up you would swear the skull was REAL. All the little cracks and "tool marks" along with the paint job add so much detail.

Needless to say, I was / am very pleased with this purchase. Worth every penny.

This skull is such good quality, I am questioning whether or not to even use it in my haunt for 2011 because it is TOO GOOD ... I actually have it sitting on a shelf in my office so I can admire the craftsmanship all day long.

I realize that with today's economy, everyone is being VERY CAREFUL as to how to spend their hard earned money ... well ... as a fellow vendor / merchant / haunter, I can honestly tell you that this product (HSTM-E) is a GREAT value for money. I strongly suggest / recommend buying one or maybe even 10.

***This product is supposed to be added to their website sometime soon and I don't know what the price will be changed or raised to, but I am basing my review on the $30 price I paid.
