Good Morning!
It's a beautiful, misty autumn morning here and the air is full of autumnal smells...Aaahh. The joys of country life! It's mornings like this when I realise that I don't miss the city one iota..It must be a drag to go straight into winter with no subtle transition to appreciate. We are very lucky here, as we rarely get snow...Although we had quite a bit back in February which caused absolute bloody mayhem as it always does when we get anything more than a hard frost.
Things are pretty much up together here at The Manor. Mrs Samedi has resumed talking to (at) me...in fact I don't think she's paused for breath since resuming verbal communication.
Halloween prep is pretty much on schedule. My plan this year was to expand the haunt and make it a full walk through into the back gardens..there are some lovely, mysterious overgrown areas out there just crying out for some subtle lighting and a half hidden prop or actor. I feel however that I somewhat underestimated the additional work required, and as a result have had to spend a small fortune on "space fillers" which was most definitely not in the plan.
Many thanks for your kind comments on my coffin corpse. I have a few more props "in production" at the moment..mainly groundbreakers. I love making them and one can never have too many in my humble opinion. I'll get round to posting a few pics soon.
Spending Halloween in LA sounds good. There must be plenty of events and wonderful things going on in that part of the world around that time. I hope you manage to take some time out from your studies to enjoy a few of them.
What are your costume plans for this year?
kind regards,
Baron S.
